Clyde stops the car and looks outside at the house. It takes less than a minute for Craig to exit the house and open the front door, sitting down and buckling his seat belt. Heâs holding one of those brown paper envelopes with a metal pin-clasp-thing.Â
âWell? Was it worth it?â Clyde asks, but he already has a steady guess on the answer.
âI got what I asked for.â There's a far-away look in Craigâs eyes as he hugs the packet-envelope close to his chestâlike its some precious documents or something incriminating. It's neither of those things.
âThatâs not what I asked.â
âI wish I had a heads up for what exactly I was going to do.â Craig fiddles with his collar, taking it off, and tossing it into the drink holder.
The smell of lavender and spice spills into the car.
âIf you knew, would you still have done it?â
Craig looks out the window. â...Just drive.â
âWell?â
â... I wouldâve brought alcohol.â

Craig pulls out eye drops. âLike i'm not already fucked up.â He stretches his eye lids apart with his fingers and drips two drops on each eye. It's a drop more than usual.
âYouâre as fucked up as me, just as it should be.â
Craig lets out an amusing hum and puts the eye drops back into the compartment. âLike thatâs a good thing.âÂ
âIts not, but thatâs never mattered.â says Clyde. âNow no distractions, or else we might end up as a pile of mush.â
Hey idk who needs this but helpful reminder that "virgin blood" in any witchcraft shit that requires that means "virgin" in the same sense as "virgin hair" means hair that hasn't been dyed or processed in any way, natural in the default sense. So no, "virgin blood" doesn't mean blood from a virgin, just blood that hasn't been used for any other kind of witchy shit earlier.
Whether nor not someone has fucked before is completely irrelevant. Any act of fucking doesn't instantly make someone contaminated or un-magic any of their shit. You're just not supposed to re-use blood for blood magic. That's just not. Just do not. Like that's just weird who does that.
Unles you've like, poured out ALL OF YOUR BLOOD, used it for a spell, and then somehow SIPHONED THE WHOLE THING BACK IN, that doesn't mean the blood on the inside of you is also used. And even then, if you'd had your sacrifical blood IV'd back into your body-

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard
Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.
Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.
Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.
Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.
SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.
SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.
Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.
Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.
Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.
Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.
Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

I think mostly what young fandom types (and I guess younger people in general) who are very very invested in the idea that â20 is still basically a minorâ need to understand is that the feeling of âIâm just a child pretending to be an adult, and everyone else around me is a REAL adultâ is DEEPLY universal (and wonât stop, ever, by the way, sorry!) and also is not, like, praxis.
Believe me, I get it, but the self-infantilization needs to stop, especially when youâre trying to engage in conversations about actual children and the harms they can face. Yes, it is scary to wake up and realize youâre 22 and you still feel like youâre 15, but it happens to all of us. Youâre an adult. You have to deal with it.
Say you break your ankle. You could know everything there is to know intellectually about the injury. Even with this vast knowledge, you will still experience physical pain.
Now take this logic and apply it to things like ADHD, autism, clinical depression, and other less visible/divergent disabilities. You cannot think your way out of feeling.
That is to say: you are not a bad, lazy, or selfish person for struggling, even if you know why you are struggling.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but AO3 was literally built on the idea that people should be able to write what they want without censorship. Writing about rape doesn't mean you support rape. Writing about incest doesn't mean you support incest. Writing about self-harm doesn't mean you support self-harm. Writing about abuse doesn't mean you support abuse. Writing about war doesn't mean you support war. Writing about murder doesn't mean you support murder. It's fiction. It's a story. People use fiction to explore every part of the human experience, including the ugly, disturbing, and uncomfortable parts.
You don't have to like what someone writes. You don't have to read it. You don't even have to respect the story itself. But harassing people because they wrote a fictional story about a concept or ship that you don't approve of is ridiculous. The whole point of AO3 is that people have the freedom to write whatever they want, and other people have the freedom not to read it. It's really that simple.

I just saw an anon come into a gif-makerâs ask box and start with the phrase: âIâm trying not to spam your inbox with reblogs, butâ and then go on to say how much they love the gifs.
But Iâm still stuck on that opening phrase becauseâŚwhat? I am so confused by how people view interactions on tumblr & AO3 these days. Let me make it very clear for anyone who is unsure:
CREATORS WANT YOU TO INTERACT WITH THEIR WORK.
The limit does not exist on how many of their works you can interact with in a certain period.
If you like every fic theyâve ever written? Then feel free to give them all kudos and even leave a comment on every single one if you feel inclined! If youâre going through someoneâs blog and you vibe with every post, like/reblog to your heartâs content!
As long as youâre not expecting something back from them or adding a ton of irrelevant comments, itâs not spam! Itâs what this is all about!! Iâm not even much of a creator and I still feel a huge sense of pride when I see a ton of notifications in a row from a person, as it clearly shows they thought my blog was worth spending time on.
And if for some reason a creator is annoyed by this (unlikely), they can manage their own experience (turn off notifs, not look at their notes, delete the fic, etc) -- so donât deprive the majority of creators because of some imagined annoyed person. Fandom is a collaborative effort and we all must participate!
We need to isolate and start selectively breeding the plastic eating bacteria so we can optimise their efficiency, and then somehow splice their DNA into the gut bacteria of an obligate carnivore, so we can put it in our cats gut biomes so they'll finally be free of having to choose between whether they want to eat plastic or whether they want to live.
