どちらも知らない方split。 A面[c:s]140さん。これ、なまえ？ ってかんじですが。 ざらついた粒子が空間を満たすなか時折射す光、そして素っ気ない低音ビートが煮立ってゆき、そのなかを吐瀉スクリュー声。空気の粒子が濃ゆくなってゆき、むこうのほう、もうみえないんだけれど、なにかしらの物音がかつりかつり、そしていちど消えたビートもはいってきて、最後はテープなきゅるきゅる音で終わっていって。 はりつめた粒子とビートの組合わせ、よいです。 B面はAlex Tyson。 ここ最近のExoにしてはめずらしいかんじ。ゆるく溶けて音のズレるシンセがよたよたなはじまりから、その隙間にゲームな効果音がはさみこまれて、今度はどたどたドラミングにこれまたよろよろシンセと、全体的にVHS感あってよいな。なんかゆるめなだけかとおもいきや、中盤の低い目ギターな音のつらなりが地味にすごくよかったり。ゆるいフリしてすごくよい。 A面の冷たくはりつめたかんじと、B面の弛緩したかんじの取り合わせがおもしろい。 Dirty Dirt This Exo split is a hybrid strain for sure, with [c:s] 104 providing the indica traits and Alex Tyson going sativa style. Sort of ironic that the original issuing of the Alex Tyson material here was a plantable card, don’t ya think? I wouldn’t suggest burying this version in the soil, though. You wouldn’t wanna get worm goo and dirt smudges all over the impressive layout, which includes a way dope, hand numbered label hugging the top half of the shell. A Super nice detail. Tabs Out When’s the last time Francesco De Gallo vibrated noises out into your ear like a belly dancer entrances onlookers with pierce stomach rings? Well, prepare for something a bit spaced, because his audible hallucinations as [c:s] 104 from side-A of the newest EXO Tapes split (with Alex Tyson) entitled Somnus / Nucleus goes from atmospheric to panoramic to swirling to dance to tape-warped birds. And it’s nothing short of exactly what you’d expect from both EXO and Francesco. So if downing that Sinex Vicks bottle on your desk like a shot ain’t your bag, well baby, Somnus / Nucleus will smack the interior of your skull and clear then nasal passages.
