the  unapproachable  demeanour  she  put  on  ,  the  resting  bitch  face  that  she  didn’t  bother  to  hide  wherever  she  went  ,  it  came  in  useful  at  times.  the  glare  she  sent  the  couples’  way  had  the  man  flinch  ,  and  it  took  every  bit  of  mediocre  acting  skill  to  not  smirk  at  seeing  the  tall  man  crumble  by  a  girl  a  good  few  inches  smaller  than  him.  once  the  couple  was  out  of  sight  ,  she  let  go  of  his  hand  and  shrugged.  “  it’s  fine  ,  ”  she  said  ,  “  that  was  ace.  ”  if  it  wasn’t  for  the  fact  that  she’d  seen  the  couple  ,  she’d  assumed  it  was  one  hell  of  a  pick  -  up  line.  ignoring  the  slight  redness  that  came  to  her  cheeks  ,  she  nodded.  “  sure  ,  i’ll  take  a  drink.  after  all  my  acting  skills  are  very  wanted  since  my  razzie  .  ”

He pouted at her words. “Not dad at Goodwill.” Kenny looked at the shirt one last time with a sigh. “I was aiming for grandpa at Goodwill.” He chuckled at his own joke before hanging up the shirt. Fashion was still too hard for him to understand. He had only shopped at one store before and it mainly sold graphic band tees and skinny jeans. He was more than willing to venture out of the style. He had recently gotten into softer colors and more floral designs. “Okay so what doesn’t scream drunk dad. I don’t want ‘drunk dad’ vibes. More ‘daddy’ vibes.”

               fingers   type   quickly   on   keyboard   as   she   hears   younger   sister   come   down   the   stairs   .   ‘   i   always   have   a   pot   ready   .   ’   hana   motions   toward   coffee   maker   without   looking   up   from   her   task   ,   but   she’s   entirely   aware   of   the   clothes   her   younger   sister   wears   .   ‘   you   know   ,   if   you’re   gonna   steal   my   clothes   ,   you   should   remember   that   my   bedroom   is   right   above   the   kitchen   .   ’

              Brows immediately hugged against her features at the response to her suggestion. ❝Of course it’s the kind that you microwave. You have to know exactly the right amount of time to put it in for, for it now to taste burnt. It’s a skill, really.               It was immediate, her body shoving off the chair and Arden pushing to a stand. Her hands dropping to wipe her jeans as if she had somehow dirtied them in the scuffle. ❝You won’t raid my fridge but you’ll steal my chair? I think things are a little mixed up here,❞ Arden expressed through a laugh. ❝I have popcorn. How about some popcorn? It’s the extra butter kind.❞
