The blog has graduated from a side blog to a main! Woooo!

So enraptured with her notes, she didn’t hear the footsteps behind her until an arm snaked around her waist. She gasped lightly, and tried to wriggle around to face whoever had grabbed her. Yet he embrace was rather gentle and the flash of auburn hair in the flickering light of the candle told her exactly who it was. She tried to mumble a greeting but before she could do so, his lips were upon hers and she found herself quietly relenting, yielding to the softness almost eagerly, yet when he pulled away any vulnerability she dared let slip was quickly hidden behind a sly grin. “Oh how bold of you.” She chuckled.

He smiles warmly, and even as he tries to resume his usual air of politeness, a light blush spreads across his cheeks that he is helpless to stop. But it was no matter. He leans in and gives her a gentle kiss on the cheek in turn.

“It’s good to see you safe.” He says as he pulls away. “Please take care of yourself out there. I do worry about you greatly.”

She gives a small gasp in surprise, but any shock quickly melts away as her face heats and a blush overtakes the color of her cheeks. She places a hand over her cheek then, and finds she can’t stop smiling. “Why thank you, Ms. Heysel!”

When the flustering fades slower than she expected she removes her hat to fan herself with it. “Dear me, I’m quite sorry. I’m not sure what’s overtaken me.”

(Hold on hold on! I don’t have any happy icons for her unfortunately but I remembered how to do these little tiny doodles of her from a couple years ago on here lol)

This isn’t meant to come of as nasty btw! I simply want to inform you. Do what you will 😊

Nope! I have no idea how Instagram works! I’ve run this blog for years and I’m well aware that likes don’t increase engagement. But it does let me see if my fellow rp blogs see my posts on their dash. A like will tell me “hey I see you!” Or “Neat thought for your muse!” and I can overlook the heart icons in my notifications when trying to find my threads, which are reblogs. (Im mostly on mobile and therefore can’t make use of those fancy thread trackers)

Plus, this is an rp blog. It’s for writing characters and stories with my friends. I know I don’t have my rules and character pages pinned like I should, but I try to convey the baseline info of what this blog is in my header. If someone’s just coming through to reblog aesthetic posts it just kinda makes me feel like a resource? And an unrelated resource at that?

Like don’t get me wrong I’m very flattered you enjoy the aesthetic content, but enjoying my writing would warm my heart even more ^^
