Also, I don’t know what type of education you got in California, but that sounds fishy to me. In our house, we are raised to be Christ-fearing individuals of Faith. Not Aramaic-spewing agents of Satan.

Yeah, my family is religious but not to an extreme, I was allowed to choose my faith. No one should fear who they follow religiously. I think if you spoke to an actual follower of the beliefs you’re so against you would have a better time handling this

I confronted him about it; he… immediately began to backpedal. He tried to insist that he’d gotten it by himself and was “interested in learning about another religion.”

THAT’S NOT “ANOTHER RELIGION.”

It is another religion. Religion is belief in a higher power. If someone believes that Satan is that higher power, then that is their religion. It is an interesting view of life, especially because the Satanic rules of worship don’t surround worshipping Satan at all but instead caring for oneself.
