｛ ✄  ⋰ She seemed to know just what agitated Seohyeon even further, knowing just what she did but still pushing the buttons of the older female. She hated that Bai knew her way too well for her own good. Huffing a deep breath, she splashed the warm water onto her face as she tried to drown out the younger’s words. She remained silent, hearing the other slip into the shower right behind her.

Of course.  

Why would she do anything but what she desired. Seohyeon tried to focus on the water and the heat, but again Bai decided to add one more thing. She was quick to turn around and face the other, her stare just as cold and irritated as it was when she came in.

“ I texted you that I was outside. That it was pouring, and what did you do? Nothing. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt that you were asleep. Were you? No, I come in, soaking wet with my three bags of luggage to see you on the couch glued to your phone. The same phone I texted. That’s why I’m mad. “

She unloaded it all at once, her intense gaze not once unlocking from Bai’s. That is until she turned back around to resume washing her hair.  ✖

⠀⠀ ——— ⊰ * && // .. 倍. ⊱ ❛ I was playing a fucking game, sere. ❜ the unexpected raise in her voice lends the air over the water a smothering thickness ; a reminder, a W A R N I N G that bai is violent, but like a bandaid over a bullet wound, she smiles. ❛ don’t take your shitty day out on me, baby. i don’t like that. ❜ soft. like a sweet plea, but it’s a lie clothed in her wet hands snaking up the curve of seohyeon’s back, following the lights of her spine.

⠀⠀ She crosses the gap between them more, liking the way her body fits fine against hers but she is strategic in defusing this bomb : with seohyeon, patience that no one thinks she has. she dips her head, & noses the hook of her jaw first, then hides her fingers in the roiling sea of her foamy hair. she kneads the froth into the mess of it, helping. ❛ would you like me a little more if i told you i made you something? ❜

Upon hearing the other’s call for him, Blake lifted his gaze from the camera being held between his hands and turned in their direction, his attention immediately focusing on their attire which he ( shamelessly ) eyed from head to toe before fixing his gaze upon theirs with a very judgemental look in his eyes. “ You’re kidding me, right? You can’t possibly be serious about going out wearing that. ” 

｛ ✄  ⋰ It had become a habit to easily tune out the other female, at least the first part as she began to peel off the soaked clothing that stuck to her skin. She had grown used to hearing excuses, lies, and whatever other smooth words could get her out of trouble. Seohyeon stuck out a slender hand to check the water’s temperature as she toyed the question that was asked.

“ Hm, do what you want. “

The response rolled off her tongue with ease, a sentence she had uttered well over a dozen times when it came to the one she apparently loved. Love. Such an odd term for her to use towards someone, especially when that someone was Bai. It was complex, more complex a relationship should be– she could hear her mother’s voice vividly telling her so– but when did she ever listen to her? How could she when she was dead now?

Rather than waiting for the other to decide what she wanted to do, she slipped inside the shower, in dire need of the warm water to heat up her body. If only it could warm up her heart as well, but that seemed futile and hopeless either way.  ✖

｛ ✄  ⋰ The downpouring rain seemed to set the mood of misery on this end-of-summer evening. The young woman rushing to bring her luggage in the cramped apartment before it got anymore soaked from the unexpected rainstorm. Seohyeon’s entire expression consisted of annoyance, anger, and something…else? It was unclear, but she managed to secure all her luggage before tipping the driver and letting him be on his way.

Grabbing the last remaining bag, she hurried up the steps and inside the confines of what she called ‘home’ when she wasn’t in Japan. Once the door closed, she dropped the small bag as she removed her shoes and removing her now drenched cardigan. The unforeseen weather condition certainly put a damper on her already sour mood, and it was shown in the way she tossed the clothing in the hamper.

“ Thanks for the help. “

Cold words spat out to the figure lying on the couch, a matching icy stare following the poison-tipped words before she headed into the bathroom, the intention of taking a hot shower and to hopefully calm down.  ✖
