Isaiah 40:4-8 ESV [4] Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain. [5] And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken." [6] A voice says, "Cry!" And I said, "What shall I cry?" All flesh is grass, and all its beauty is like the flower of the field. [7] The grass withers, the flower fades when the breath of the LORD blows on it; surely the people are grass. [8] The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.
Scripture reflection 👆🏼
“Every valley shall be raised up… the rough ground shall become level… the rugged places a plain.”
And then Isaiah reminds us why we can trust it: “the grass withers… but the word of our God endures forever.”
Life can feel like a mess of hills and hidden valleys - like you’re walking around obstacles you never asked for. But God’s promise is bigger than the terrain. He doesn’t just tell us to endure; He’s moving through our in-between seasons, leveling what seems unmovable, lifting what seems too low, and clearing a way forward.
If you’re waiting for your “straight and clear path,” hold onto this: the Word of the Lord doesn’t fade with time, worries, or changing circumstances. What He speaks outlasts everything that looks strong today.
A short prayer🧎♂️➡️🧎➡️🛐
Lord, make a way for Your presence in my life. Raise what’s been brought low, level what’s been rough, and help me trust that Your Word endures forever. Amen.
Manasseh - the evil king turned good
Not every broken man is destroyed. Some finally see clearly in the ruins.
Manasseh was too far gone... until mercy decided otherwise.
If you think you're too far in sin, if you feel helpless in the face of your past, if you feel hopeless about where you are and wonder if God is there... THIS IS FOR YOU.
Sometimes when people complain that someone "too evil" has been forgiven, I remember Manasseh, the king who was 😈
I remember that One who is more powerful and all-knowing than us all had MERCY on Manasseh.
That's why I can bring this message of hope to anyone who may have been or was not as bad as Manasseh.
📰 Newsflash 📰 You can ask Yahweh for mercy. It's His to give.
Not another man's. Not anyone else's.
I pray we all find mercy.
It makes all the difference.
Read 2 Chronicles 33:1-20. Read how a king found mercy.
You and I can find mercy too.
Did you know about Manasseh? Let me know. By the way the full video is on @word_speak on IG.
THE CONSUMING FIRE
Deuteronomy 9:3 reminds me that some doors opened not because we are fearless, but because God goes before us like a raging fire.
There are battles you survive and realize later, you were never fighting alone.
Don’t you agree?
NO ONE can pay to redeem life or give God something (money) for life.
Psalm 49 verse 8 - 10 says: “…the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough - so that they should live forever and not see decay. For all that can see that the wise die, that the foolish and the senseless also perish, leaving their wealth to others,”

1 Corinthians 15:47-49 ESV The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven. [48] As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. [49] Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven.
There’s something quietly powerful about this passage.
We spend so much of life trying to “fix” what feels broken in us — our flaws, our limitations, the parts of us that feel too human. Dust-like. Fragile. Incomplete.
And yet, “the first man was from the earth, a man of dust.”
That’s where we all begin. Dust isn’t failure but it’s our origin. It’s the shared condition of being human: vulnerable, temporary, learning as we go.
But the passage doesn’t stop there.
“The second man is from heaven.”
It introduces a second identity — not one we earn, but one we’re invited into. A transformation because of the resurrection. A shift from merely existing in our limitations to becoming something shaped by something higher.
And then this:
“Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven.”
Not might. Not maybe. We shall.
It’s a reminder that who we are right now isn’t the final version of us.
We carry both realities: natural and spiritual.
– the weight of dust
– and the promise of heaven
So maybe the tension you feel — between who you are and who you’re becoming, isn’t something to escape.
Maybe it’s the evidence that transformation is already in motion.
You are human - your natural form. But you are also called to become more.
Jesus will never give up on you. 🕊
Solomon’s foible…
He arrived.
Then he forgot.
Typical of many people. Arrive, then forget YHWH who brought you/us into our promised land.
If only we wouldn’t. But it happens. Do, turn back to Him and He’ll turn back to you.
Deuteronomy 6:10-12 BSB And when the LORD your God brings you into the land He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, that He would give you—a land with great and splendid cities that you did not build, [11] with houses full of every good thing with which you did not fill them, with wells that you did not dig, and with vineyards and olive groves that you did not plant—and when you eat and are satisfied, [12] be careful not to forget the LORD who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

Sometimes it feels like arrogance wins.
We see people lie, manipulate, cheat, and mock God —
and they still prosper.
It makes people wonder:
“What is the point of serving God?”
But Malachi reveals something powerful:
God is watching.
God is listening.
And God is recording.
Those who honour Him are written in His Book of Remembrance.
There will come a day when the difference will be visible to everyone.
The difference between
those who serve God
and those who do not.
So the question is not
“Are they prospering?”
The question is:
How are we acting?
Are we living with reverence?
Are we speaking with honour?
Are we standing with those who fear the Lord?
Because heaven keeps records.
And the faithful are never forgotten.
Declare, meditate, mutter intermittently…
(Your Name) arise, shine, for your light is come, the glory of the Lord is risen upon me

He’s steps ahead…
The story in a nutshell - The prophet told the lady to move away from famine. Years later as she returned and went to ask the king to help retrieve her assets, the story of how the prophet had raised her son back to life was before the king who granted her wish and restored everything plus proceeds.
Because the Lord is steps ahead, we need not fear. He’s already taken care!
May this be our story when the need arises. Amen 🙏🏼
Deuteronomy 31:8 BSB The LORD Himself goes before you; He will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.”
Stress is not weakness.
It is a signal.
The Bible never pretends pressure doesn’t exist.
It simply refuses to let pressure have the final word.
When life tightens its grip, Scripture does something radical.
It invites you to transfer the weight.
Not deny it.
Not spiritualize it.
Not suppress it.
Transfer it.
“Do not be anxious about anything…”
Not because nothing is wrong, but because you are not meant to carry everything alone.
Even Jesus said, “My soul is overwhelmed…”
Overwhelmed is not unbelief. Isolation is.
God does not promise the removal of responsibility.
He promises rest within it.
There is a difference between relief (temporary) and rest (internal stability)
Stress becomes destructive when it stays unspoken.
So speak.
Pray.
Lament.
Exhale.
He understands your anguish.
And peace is not the absence of pressure - it is the presence of God within it.

Feeling Accused? 👆🏼👇🏼
Accusations…
Some are quiet.
Some come from people.
Some come from memory.
Some come from that voice that says,
“You should be ashamed.”
Joshua stood in filthy garments.
Not polished. Not defended.
Just… exposed.
And the enemy stood ready.
But heaven interrupted.
“The LORD rebuke you.”
Before Joshua could explain himself,
God spoke.
Before he could clean himself up,
God removed the guilt.
That’s the miracle in Zechariah 3.
Grace doesn’t wait for you to look presentable.
It doesn’t ask you to scrub the stains first.
It doesn’t negotiate with accusation.
It rebukes it.
And then it re-clothes you.
You are not what tried to burn you.
You are what God pulled from the fire.
Guilt removed.
Identity restored.
Crowned again.
If this speaks to you, save it for the days accusation gets loud. 📌

Where are your gifts?
In the parable of the talents, the servant who buried his gift wasn’t lazy — he was scared.
Scared of getting it wrong.
Scared of being judged.
Scared that what he had wasn’t enough to matter.
So he did the safest thing:
he hid it.
And that was the tragedy.
Not failure.
Not weakness.
But unused potential.
There is a quiet loss that happens when a person convinces themselves
“I’ll start when I’m ready.”
“I’ll start when I’m confident.”
“I’ll start when it’s perfect.”
But growth only happens in motion.
Your talent doesn’t multiply in hiding.
It multiplies in use.
You don’t need more ability.
You need permission to begin.
Use the little you have.
It was never little.
What did she think?
This lady… this widow… I tried to think about what she must’ve been thinking when Elijah asked to share their last meal.
What would you have done? Thought he was crazy? But then read this:
“Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’ ”” ~ 1 Kings 17:13-14 NIV
We all need a prophet Lord. We are in need of this type of miracle!!!!
What a blessing she received.
Read the whole chapter and see how it played out. Yahweh is good.
