JAY-Z leads the 2018 Grammy Award nominations with a total of eight nods from the nine he submitted for. 

He has three nominations in the major categories: 4:44 is up for “Album of the Year,” “The Story of O.J.” is vying for “Record of the Year,” and “4:44” could pick up “Song of the Year.” Jay’s other nominations include a “Best Rap Album” nod for for 4:44, “Best Rap/Sung Performance” for his and Beyoncé’s “Family Feud,” “Best Rap Performance” for the heartfelt “4:44,” and “The Story of O.J.” Is nominated for “Best Rap Song” and “Best Music Video.” With 21 awards from 74 nominations Jay is tied with Stevie Wonder and George Solti as the third-most-nominated artist of all-time.
