Ever Evolving 🌱

Tomorrow I have an ENORMOUS exam to take and I barely covered half the material. At first I thought “why waste my energy on this when my grade won’t be the best anyway?” Ironically, I planned on just watching some videos about the course and then enjoy my day on YouTube watching other people studying. But I realized I could be the one studying and enjoying learning a bunch of new things.

I remembered that effort is never vain. Yes, I will not have a great grade. But if I study as much as I can now, I might get an okay grade and even if I don’t, I’ll learn from my mistakes. Time will pass anyway, might as well help myself from the future a bit, right?

Time will pass anyway, and in every scenario possible, tomorrow I’ll be taking that exam. So why be my own enemy instead of doing what’s best for me?

Trust me, don’t give up on yourself. Even if you might think you’re completely doomed, that’s only something you can change. Even if changes just a tiny bit. Because nobody else will do it for you. Nobody will study for you, and nobody’s going to make the effort for you.

Do it scared and annoyed but do it now and thank yourself later, when the time will have passed.

It will piss off all the people who hate you.
