What I researched for this project wasn’t really related to gardening kits but I wanted to make use of them.

Camu C is a Thai drink company.

What really stood out was the color palette.

It utilised a darker shade for the type to allow contrast for the background.

Advantage

The contrast also isn’t too much compared to complimentary colours.

This book cover made by Rodrigo Corral also caught my attention.

In attempt to seek the perfect typeface, a really interesting design was found.

The tear droplet signifies this sad love story. However it can be turned around for our brand.

Instead of a tear droplet, a leaf can be visualised, also representing the logo.

It’s just a representation of the idea. An A in the centre of the leaf logo. It will need some refinement as it’s not energetic enough. As it’s also a rough idea. This could be done with the typeface we’ve looked at.

This is the final outcome of the book.

We didn’t put as much effort. Thus, we focused on the plants and gave basic information about the gardens. There were other ideas to be explored but never gave them the full consideration as time wasn’t managed well.

For instance, I wanted to put in the murals by upside gallery.

Inter even created a pastiche collection of the 11 art works. I’d sort of blurred them out to ensure the viewers are inquisitive to see the real works and compare to mine. The whole idea of it was to create pastiche and to encourage people to see the actual works - in person. As digital and physical art are separate.

Amelia also wanted to delve into the gardens more. This is because it’s filled with entertainment and much history.
