He might show fear towards her but that circles back to him becoming annoyed and spiteful that #a woman has a higher position / perhaps more power over him than he’d like #With Nurse Barlow he literally makes a comment about her being ‘decent’ at her job despite her gender #Regarding Amelia and Liliya he sexualizes / objectifies the both of them. In the file describing Liliya acting as Amelia’s replacement #he just refuses to acknowledge Amelia had influence because she had a powerful presence. Rather he claims replacing one pretty woman #with another will serve the same purpose. To act as a sort of temptress archetype for the reagents to follow after in a way thats more #digestible for him. Or so he thinks.#TLDR I think Easterman is a wonderful villain because he really displays what happens when a cowardly insecure man gets like #an ounce of power #he’s canonically described as perpetually uncomfortable #I like seeing interpretations of him that acknowledge this #i think Amelia doesn’t get as much recognition. She is the exact opposite of Easterman’s ideals and I love her so much #hence my entire blog dedicated to her. anyways #I don’t draw Easterman often but when I do it has to be slander #also im that one friend who reaches but regarding the first piece it was. inspired also by that one #amelia outfit in the newer catalogues which is her outfit but. undone to reveal ‘peekaboo’ with her insigna #which is a fun nod to her but also I see it as like. reagents more inclined to Easterman’s words are now viewing her as like #the cheeky ‘temptress’ Easterman would describe her as #idk food for thought
