Such a beauty isn't she. Tonight's sky seems fun to draw.
I rarely see others awing at the sky as I do. It seems as though they are too busy to look, or, rather, they just lack care. But I wish people would look at the sky more and make a point to talk about it as well. Any time that I see a pretty sky, I point it out to nearby friends or family. Even coworkers. They often seem uninterested. But ultimately I don't let it bring my mood down because I am happy and I shared what made me happy to make others feel the same and I think that's worth something.
I know the sky will in fact be there each night (for all I know) but I think it still values merit to appreciate it even so. Now, this isn't to say that none of my peers and whatnot do not value it, but it is a vast majority. Oftentimes, I don't even take a photo of it because you can only live in this exact moment once. And that is the same reason I do sometimes take photos of it. I like to appreciate the moment but I also enjoy looking back on those same ones.
No matter what colors it may show each night, I still find myself mesmerized by it. As I mentioned in a previous post, there will always be something to look forward to. Whether you like the sunrise or sunset, each day offers both and you get to decide if you take a few moments to be grateful for it. Just look at it every once in a while. Look at it at least a little bit more than you currently do. And if you're in a spot where everything feels overwhelming or upsetting, remember you have a pretty sky to look at every morning and night. :)
