A and B are known to be extremely touchy with eachother, a little closer than usual "best friends" are considered to be. They decide to put this behavior and reputation into good use, pretending to be a couple on Valentine's Day to get a discounted meal at a local restaurant. It's then that A realizes that this "date" was a little too enjoyable, and B is surprised when A asks them to go out again: this time for real.

A and B have a crush on eachother, but neither of them have told the other just yet. A, however, is quite bold and when they figure their feelings out, they try to make obvious signals to B to express that they want more. B being both hesitant and a bit oblivious, is wary about these signs. They're unsure if A is really trying to tell them something, but too afraid to ask or speak up about it in fear of losing the friendship. A grows frustrated with B until they finally decide enough is enough and snaps, confessing on the spot.

B is studying abroad and is really struggling to cope with being away from their best friend for so long, as this is the longest they've been apart. That's why when the holiday season comes, they arrange a trip back to where A lives as fast as possible to surprise them. What B doesn't realize is that A had the same idea, traveling to B's campus in hopes to find their best friend. When the two realize and laugh about how they've messed up, they also realize the extreme measures they both took just to see eachother and admit that they've missed one another a bit more than they should have..
