Evie hurried down the hall to Jason's room after stuffing full a dance bag. She felt like an emotional mess and let out a loud sigh as she knocked on his door. "Jason?"

Jason hopped up, tossing his laptop in his bed gently to open the door. Evie was visibly upset; her beautiful eyes a bit puffy and red as if she had cried today. He took her bag from her and brought her inside, engulfing her in a hug as soon as he put her things down. "Whats wrong, baby?"

Evie let out a sigh and held him silently. Her arms shook tiredly. "I fought with my mom.. and all the comments.."

He stroked her hair, pulling her tighter into his chest. "Hey, hey, it's okay. Screw those people that made those comments okay?" He lifted her chin to kiss her softly. "You're beautiful. So beautiful... What happened with your mom?"

Evie tensed. She sat on his bed, pulling her knees to her chest. "Um..you... We fought about you."

He sat next to her, eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "I...? What? Me?"

"She's worried. She thinks I'm spending too much time with you. I'm not putting out two weekly videos anymore and I've been placing lower and she thinks you're bad for me."

"I... Am I? Bad for you, that is? I don't want to be the reason you fall behind..." He said, twiddling his thumbs. "i mean, I only want the best for you."

She shook her head. "You're good for me. I wanted to stop making videos but you...you encourage me," she smiled, leaning in to kiss him longingly.

He kissed her deeply, his hand resting on her waist. He wanted to smile into the kiss, but he felt guilt over being the reason Evie fought with her mother. "Should I, like, apologize to your mom or something?.. Why'd you want to stop making videos?"

Evie hushed him and climbed into his lap, kissing him. After a few minutes of long, lengthy kisses she felt something wrong and pulled away, carefully climbing out of his lap, horrified when she spotted a faded red stain on his khakis. "Oh my God... what the hell is that..." she had a spot on her Jean shorts.

Jason was working his hands through her hair when she pulled away, pointing at his thigh. He pulled his waist band down to check if he was bleeding, and he was unharmed. "Are you.. y'know, on your period?"

She turned away shakily, revealing the spot.  "I don't know."

"I, um, should you go check? Do you need me to get you anything?" He cringed, figuring she was rather embarrassed. He pulled his khakis off, tossed them in the hamper, and changed into sweats.

She looked terrified and rushed into the bathroom. A few minutes later she sheepishly poked her head out. "I don't have any pads with me."

"Don't sweat it," He said, pulling his shoes on. "I'll just go get some."  He ran down to the CVS at the mall, buying the first ones he saw. He decided it might be nice to get her some chocolate too, and maybe some ice cream. "I'm back," He called out, putting the bag of pads outside the bathroom for her.

She cried softly, grabbing the bag and speaking. "I need my...my clean panties and my..my Pajama pants.."

He heard the weepiness in her voice and couldn't help but frown. He picked out her underwear and her PJ's from her bag, opening the bathroom door a crack and holding them out for her. When she came out, he hugged her. "Hey, I mean, I'm sure this happens to people more than you would think. Its just a stain."

Evie changed, blubbering, and shook like a leaf as she ran water through her stained panties to rinse then, wrapping them in the shopping bag before putting them on her Duffel. She cried into his shoulder, shaking. "I'm so embarrassed.."

His hand trailed down her back, kissing her forehead. "Shh, don't worry about it, really," He said, trying to wipe her onslaught of tears away. "Its not like you did anything wrong, you couldnt control it."

Evie gulped and sat on his bed. "I...I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry!"

"It's okay, Evie!" He insisted, then attempted to get off the subject. "I got ice cream and chocolate for you, by the way."

Evie settled down, perking up. "Ice cream?"

Jason chuckled, mentally congratulating himself for picking up some ice cream. "Yup, Ben and Jerry's Half-Baked," He said, tossing her the carton and a spoon. "All yours."

Evie curled into a ball on his bed, pulling his blanket up and opening the ice cream, making a face suddenly.

"Something wrong?" He asked, scrunching up his nose to mimic her expression.

She looked sick, closing the ice cream. "Suddenly the thought of ice cream sounds gross.."

Evie lay down, laying her head in his lap and curling into a ball. "I just want to lay here and cry.."

He stroked her hair, looping his hand around to cup her cheek and kiss her on the lips. "I'd hate it if you cried, because I hate when you're sad, but if it'll make you feel better I'll just lie here with you while you do that."

Evie started crying finally, curled up in her lap, shaking like crazy. "Tha-thank you.." Evie climbed into his lap, pulling herself closer to Jason, sobbing into his neck for a few minutes before she whimpered, "I feel sick.."

He kissed her cheek, his shirt collar becoming stained with her tears. "Period sick? or something else?"

She pulled away and scurried across the bed to grab the garbage can, tilting over it to vomit.

He winced, her heaving sounding painful and vomit made him nauscous himself. He leaned over to hold her hair back for her as she puked. "Can i do anything to help? Oh, I'm sorry Evie."

Evie just sniffled. "I'm gonna.." She sighed and wiped her mouth with a tissue before just laying with her head in his lap, falling right to sleep.
