Many things interested her, and nothing satisfied her entirely.

The barren sadness of the landscape had a strange fascination for me. I like to battle the cold winds. Do you understand what I mean? Sometimes cheerless places have more appeal to the heart than a scene of all pretty sunshine and flowers.

I’m strong, but I’m also weak. I like talking to people, but I’m also an introvert. I feel like laughing and crying at the same time. I might act like I don’t care, but I do, a lot. I’m simple, yet complicated. I’m perfectly flawed and I like it.

How we treat the earth basically effects our social welfare and our national security.

If you’re incapable of holding yourself accountable for your childish behavior you’re no friend of mine.

Those are the two things you want to do most when you love somebody: to save them (sometimes from themselves) and to be near them always.
