Petition to buy the rights to every one of Horikoshi’s female characters and put them in a better series

I think what makes it worse is the fan response. Liking Kirishima? Fine! But trying to justify taking the moment away from Mina when he’s already gotten to shine so many times already? And justifying it by saying “oh, this will just be the start of an arc for Mina overcoming that hesitation and fear!” Like?! Have we read the same manga? What makes you think Horikoshi would ever make an onscreen arc for a non Deku/Todo/Bakugo character? And especially for Mina who now STILL has done nothing?

I can’t do it. I can’t read this manga anymore. Not for Mina. Not for anything. Six years of the female characters being teased for greatness, only to fail every single time and be saved or upstaged by the boys. I have no idea how this show can have such a strong female audience when the author clearly holds nothing but disdain for them. I have to drop this show, I can’t take it.
