I’m Not Alone ? — IDEAS & CONCEPTS
BACKROOMS AU Modern!Mechanic!Sevika x Adventurer!Reader (not proofread)
Sevika is a woman in her 40’s, works as a mechanic in an Autoshop she opened like 15 years ago, not super busy but she makes a good amount of money.
Regular middle aged woman of her type, works, drinks beer, talks to her tight circle of friends, exhausted but not in the “I want to kill myself right this moment” way.
No-clipped when she tripped and fell in her Autoshop, sinking right through the concrete floor of her workspace.
Phone had no connection, her hands were oily and her work clothes were dirty. Wandered through the endless loop of rooms for only god knows how long until she found a backpack left behind by a worker from one of the employees of Async Corp.
Started encountering entities and Still Lives after a while, genuinely started rethinking everything and slowly going insane.
Built a makeshift safespace in one of the crawlspaces where she knew entities couldn’t reach. Lived on small rations of food and water, lost track of days & didn’t know how much time had passed since she arrived.
Twisted her ankle while barely escaping from an entity, spent days in her makeshift camp with little movement because of how miserable she’d been doing physically and mentally, stomach constantly growling and throat always dry.
You first found the backrooms when you found a portal in your deceased grandfather’s old hut, marking the area with tape and building yourself a makeshift research station in the hut while also feeling like a completely deranged person.
Who would believe you? Well, that didn’t matter now. You were already too invested in the concept of the backrooms. You started exploring it, drawing maps and investigating the endless rooms with a pistol steady in your hands. You weren’t gonna let yourself die in here, were you?
When Sevika first noticed you, she stayed hidden, thinking you were an entity that got too good at replicating a real person, and simply due to the lack of human interaction for weeks— or months, choosing to stay closed off from any kind of potential human contact.
