#oh my gosh I know these!#I have a book that my mom got from her grandma back in the 80s #‘flower fairies of the summer’#and it has poems with them all #I’ve never seen them anywhere else until now (though I didn’t think to look)#thanks for making me go look at it again I needed some past remembrances today #edit: also I was talking with my mom today about being a little kid and eating ‘fairy cheeses’#which I’m pretty sure I got from the poem accompanying mallow #which I think is in flower fairies of the alphabet? I’m not sure the title #because I only have one of the two I grew up with and my mom still has the other #but yeah unexpected blast from the past that also relates to stuff I was already remembering about today!#positivity

So this happened while I was sick and without power this weekend… I’m actually doing an entire ‘Yzma is Best Princess’ series. There are many more in the works (Cinderella, Elza, Jane, Pocahontas, Esmeralda, etc..). Watercolors with the outline done digitally because when I tried to use actual marker it bled like crazy (I’m glad I scanned them before I tried that).
