For those who were a fan of my Dragon Age Veilguard Mourn Watch cosplay, here’s the final video of it! It came out more amazing than I even thought it could. The videographer is @dressmeupscottyofficial and she did such an amazing job I fear I’ll never be able to go back to boring phone video. I’d like to think Emmrich Volkarin would have fallen in love immediately for my Rook. And if you like this Rook check out my page for my Ativan crow Rook!

I know this is an obscure Morticia Addams cosplay to choose but when I saw this Goth camping outfit of hers in season 2 of Wednesday I fell in love. And I’m not saying I look like Catherine Zeta-Jones but I had a few friends say she reminded them of me in Wednesday. And I resemble features of her more then I do Anjelica Huston sadly so I fit this Morticia more I feel looks wise. I need to redo the veil on the hat but I was having a hard time finding the right lace. So I’ll need to keep looking while this is a placeholder. I’ve gotta figure out better shoes as well as these ones were awful and cheap to wear. I’d love to shave down the glasses as well so they’re not as large. It’s the details! But overall a good start to this cosplay I think.

If you were a fan of my mourn watch cosplay from Dragon Age Veilguard then maybe you’ll like my Crow Rook as well. I’ve always loved the look of elven rogues and Teias armor in Veilguard was my favorite. So I went for it and this might be one of my favorite cosplays to wear. Although I need a better long term solution for my Shoes.

Oh look, a cosplay that isn’t BG3 or Astarion related! If I have to say this on every post with Dragon Age I will. I liked Veilguard and don’t want to hear any hate on it. It wasn’t perfect but it was still fun and had some amazing aspects of it. I love Emmrich almost as much as I love Astarion. Which means this very gothic yet romantic Mourn Watch inspired cosplay shouldn’t be a surprise. I like to think it’s Rooks wedding gown when she marries Enmrich.

Something about Astarion just enjoying a drink with his hair being perfect gets to me. That first photo was not a very prepared one but more like a quick snap and go. And yet it’s one of my fav pics of him as Astarion. Go figure. This was us on Saturday night at Labyrinth Masquerade ball and that photo is only 1 of I think 3 photos I took of myself. Two being just face and the third a far away mirror shot. Perhaps I’ll do another photo with this costume. Still deciding.

Just hanging out at Labyrinth Masquerade Ball as Tav and Astarion wondering where this portal may take us. Loved the lighting and set up of this room at the ball so much. Green seems to be our color.

I made this fantasy Renaissance Faire gown out of fabric that I had in my stash. This was a huge roll of upholstery weight velveteen that had been custom dyed from a film studio that was getting rid of its fabrics. My friend was able to grab some fabric for me and I decided to use it for this gown because I thought the color was pretty and the Faire I wore it to was cold and rainy the day I went so I knew it would keep me warm. I didn’t realize as I made it that the dye became blotchy and once I did it was too late to go back so I just went with it. I still think it turned out pretty and it’s made me want to make some more fantasy medieval gowns as I just think the style is so flattering. Moondrop from FNAF costume I made for my eldest. I initially didn’t want to make her anything from this game because I’m not a horror fan but I really love the design behind these characters. Fratstarion has entered the chat.

So we never do celebrity photo ops or autographs but it was to good to pass up the opportunity to get a photo with Neil Newbon in our Astarion and Tav cosplays. We also had our spawn of the spawn with us too! The experience was so worth it and I adore this photo. Also our cosplays just look so fancy together!

I mostly finished my wavemothers robe from BG3 and I couldn’t be happier! Now me and my Astarion can be the power couple we were meant to be from the start lol! Really enjoyed wearing these cosplays to Los Angeles comic con.
