I made this fantasy Renaissance Faire gown out of fabric that I had in my stash. This was a huge roll of upholstery weight velveteen that had been custom dyed from a film studio that was getting rid of its fabrics. My friend was able to grab some fabric for me and I decided to use it for this gown because I thought the color was pretty and the Faire I wore it to was cold and rainy the day I went so I knew it would keep me warm. I didn’t realize as I made it that the dye became blotchy and once I did it was too late to go back so I just went with it. I still think it turned out pretty and it’s made me want to make some more fantasy medieval gowns as I just think the style is so flattering. Much love to Pixie Vision Photography who takes such beautiful photos.
