Just wanted to take a break from the usual posting and all of the craziness that’s consumed my life lately. Here’s a photo I took of my girlfriend before she was my girlfriend. The two of us had known one another for just a few short weeks before we boarded a flight to Colorado. Traveling with someone is always difficult, especially when you’re just getting to know them. This trip should’ve torn us apart but created a bond I don’t think anyone could ever even begin to replace. We have our ups and downs as any couple does but we’re currently focused on making sure we have more good days than bad and so far I think we’re making some damn good progress. It’s not often that a person can just walk into your life and make you feel like you need to be the best you at all times. It’s Friday night and Pennsylvania is about to see round two of lockdown tomorrow. My grandmother is in the hospital and I’m not sure that I’ll get another chance to see her alive. It’s been more than nine months since I’ve last seen my grandparents due to covid.. My heart is absolutely broken and I can’t believe that this a reality I have to face. 2020 has been a wild ride with lots ups and plenty of downs as well. A camera is a tool that teaches you to look at life in a different way. I can no longer just walk down the street or go for a drive without my mind framing and mentally shooting most of whatever I see. I’ll frequently stop what I’m doing for a lot of photos or make a note to go back and capture what I visioned.
