One of my favorite photos of me from 2022 🖤 looking over my body of work from this past year, I got in water and had other people get in water A LOT. I have always found water incredibly calming. Since I’ve been struggling with anxiety and depression for most of my life, it’s always been a safe-haven for me. When my anxiety is high, I can feel the call of the ocean, as though floating in its waters will carry my stress, anxiety, and fear away. Living in pittsburgh, where the closest ocean is a day’s drive away, I find a scalding-hot shower is the best proxy I can get. 🌊🌊🌊 Where do you find solace when you need it? Water, like me?
