Making coffee in the outdoors is one of my favorite routines. This is from night two backpacking in @glaciernps. It's the only time I've been in the tent while it hailed--it was awesome. (at Glacier National Park)

The steam created from the 160 degree water of the Grand Prismatic Spring touching the cool air above creates an eerie, movie-like atmosphere in @yellowstonenps. (at Grand Prismatic Spring)
It's hard to believe we've now been to all 47 National Parks in the contiguous US! Our time in the first ever National Park, Yellowstone, was marked by quite a bit of rain and snow, but we still got to witness it's other-worldly charm. We'll be sharing much more over the coming weeks as we look back over our adventure to the 47 National Parks, and look forward to the many more adventures to come. (at Yellowstone National Park)
The Tetons are WILD! ⢠We saw a huge black bear a few hundred yards from our campsite just a few moments after a moose walked by after sunset last night. ⢠đ¸: @peachnectar (at Grand Teton National Park)

Labor Day weekend means we have lots of camp neighbors! We were only able to snag one night in the Badlands and then camped one night in Wind Cave meaning we knocked out park 44 and 45 really fast. ⢠Currently posted up in Jackson Hole planning some adventures in @grandtetonnps and @yellowstonenps, our final two parks! We want to go out with a bang, anybody have recommendations? (at Badlands National Park)
As we get closer to the completion of our "spend a year camping all the National Parks (in the lower 48)" I can't help be reflect how the heck we pulled this thing off. It largely has to do with support of our community before we left and the people we met along the way. Those who contributed with gear, money, food, a place to stay, extra love and encouragement- we couldn't have done this without you. It's pretty incredible how people show up when you share with them your wildest goals. Additionally our partnership with @qaloring has provided an opportunity to work on the road. I am incredibly grateful for the chance to work with them and be a part of their team. Now we've got 4 Parks left and I couldn't be more pumped to cherish every second of it! #puregratitude #evaandjordango #nationalparks #wildernessculture #keepitwild #athomeouthere

Meet Al, Scott, and Bennett. We ended up getting a group site at Isle Royale, where we had the pleasure of sharing a plot with these guys. Not only did they share their booze, but treated us to breakfast the next morning. When you meet people in the backcountry, or on the trail it seems thereâs always an instant connection. Aside from collecting memories and images from the places weâve been weâve made new friends nearly everywhere we go. I am thankful and touched by the kindness and generosity of the people in the outdoor community. Â
A Voyageurâs Life
Something very attractive about traveling around in our Jeep for a year camping all the National Parks in the contiguous US is that we are able to access most places with ease. We drove down to the tip of the Everglades, out to Mount Desert Island for Acadia, down to Badwater Basin in Death Valley, and up over 12,000 feet on Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. When we drove up to northern Minnesota for our 42nd park, it was a completely different story. One that went back hundreds of years.
Voyageur, meaning âtravelerâ in French, refers to the fur traders who navigated these waters as a means of trade. As a visitor to Voyageurâs National Park, you get to experience this area much the same way they did, by water. In fact, the park is accessible solely by watercraft. We wanted to get the authentic experience (and quite frankly we didnât have access to a motorboat) so we sought out the help of local canoe expert Eric with Voyageurâs Outfitters (www.voyageursoutfitters.com) who hooked us up with our canoe. You can rent with them for $30/day which worked out perfectly for our planned two-night camping trip.
We paddled out about a mile and a half to a little island campsite, built a fire, and enjoyed the Gilligan lifestyle. Voyageurs is pretty remote, so make sure to stay up past sunset for a chance to see the Northern Lights (we spotted them!) and some of the most beautiful night skies we have seen on the trip thus far.
Voyageurs is definitely not the typical National Park experience, which we really enjoyed. There arenât as many visitors to this park, and there is just something fun about having an island all to yourself. Make sure your water navigation skills are on point (or bring a GPS like we did) and load your canoe up with whatever you want on the island. The other advantage to traveling by water is you donât have to hike with it on your back, meaning you can splurge a little bit and bring some beer or extra food!
We had a blast, and wonât forget Voyageurs anytime soon.
Stoked to partner up with @kammok x @parksproject on their mission to get underserved youth outdoors. Each 'Hanging in the Parks' bundle sold supports sending one kid to a national park. Their goal is to fund 1,000 students on a life-changing adventure in one of our nation's parks. ⢠We completely align with their belief in the restorative power of outdoor adventure, and can't wait to put this thing to use!
I like that sunsets, stars, and jumping in bodies of water are now a part of our routine. (at Isle Royale National Park)
Hanging under the Milky Way on @isleroyalenps. ⢠Our trek to park number 43 took us on a five hour boat ride to an island in the middle of Lake Superior. At 10pm we hiked to Scoville Point on the edge of the island and had quite the show above us. (at Isle Royale National Park)

Even though the water is take-your-breath-away cold up here it's too refreshing to not take the plunge. ⢠Currently aboard the Ranger III on a trip through Lake Superior to our Next Park. #evaandjordango #taketheplunge
