Run up to Tatton Day 9 & 10

Softy Got a Wash. The very grubby before. Washed with Candy Crush – The Car Salon More progress on the MK2 Swapped the Stereo and Gauges around, after repairing all the wiring. With the driver only having one port on the oil filter adaptor plate, a T-piece was needed to screw in the original oil buzzer/light sensor and the gauge temp sender, when fully tight it doesn’t work as the sender now…

Run up to Tatton Day 7 & 8

Day 7 & 8 is wiring and dashlights   With 26 years of  alarms / stereos and more recently phone kits the dash wiring was a firey rats nest waiting to happen.  So I stripped it all out back to the factory looms and plugs. I’ll make it all work and even the heater controls slide without catching. The clock set plastic circuitboard looked to have been burn by either ill fitting or wrong wattage…
