SOLUTIONS:  DIY, Nontoxic All-Purpose Cleaner

Commercial cleaners are filled with toxic chemicals that enter your body via your skin and inhalation (dangerous for humans and pets!) and they are quite expensive so you are paying a lot of money to be exposed to toxins. That makes no sense. Instead, make your own nontoxic, effective all-purpose household cleanser— clean your counters, bathrooms, floors, or pretty much anything you like with it—for just pennies.

RECIPE

Peels from 3-5 oranges or 6-8 mandarins

A quart of distilled white vinegar

A quart-size mason jar w/lid

Empty spray bottle

DIRECTIONS

Fill the mason jar with the orange peels.

Pour in enough vinegar to fill the jar to the top

Put lid on tightly and let sit for 10 days.

After 10 days, strain out peels

Pour into an empty spray bottle, and use to clean your counters, bathrooms, floors, or pretty much anything you like!
