why this song you ask? because of this singular fic that has reshaped the way i perceive time and twilight’s relationship. go read it, it’s amazing. it does a great job of capturing the guilt and helplessness that time has and hates with a burning passion. it is canon to me now‼️
i bet you time is younger than he lets on. like 100% he’s older than the rest, but he’s not that old. people forget that he’s also fond of messing with the chain, and this is his small way of it. also he likes being mysterious. yes he’s mysterious and stoic when needed, but he’s also wars’ sprite, who likes causing chaos.
time wears his wedding ring around his neck on a leather cord. not pictured because I forgot it :( but he doesn’t wear it on his hand because he’s worried about getting it damaged while he’s adventuring. i headcanon it to be silver with malon’s name engraved on the inside.
when the journey ends and it’s time (heh) for the group to return to their timelines he’s gonna cry. like actually cry. and it’ll be the chain’s first time seeing him cry this entire time. their reaction will be glorious!
also time has SOOOOO many death flags. like he’s the oldest member, kind of a mentor figure to everyone. he’s also the type to feel responsible for everyone, more so than the rest, so if it comes down to a sacrifice, I wouldn’t be surprised if he stepped up. yes timeline shenanigans, but it’s also possible that malon is already pregnant. and we know we don’t know how he dies, so it’s possible he dies on the journey.
