I am BACK and I have a new LU AU
Shadow Link (as in, Four’s in particular) is still trapped within the hero’s shadow after the events of the four swords manga. This means he hears things from time to time. Especially regarding a plan from the Forces of Evil™️. He learns that this whole timeline jumping thing is really a trap to wear down the heroes, until eventually they will be caught off guard and killed all at once.
Shadow’s not taking that shit, but he knows that he’s no hero. He can’t even speak. But then, on the night of a Blood Moon in Wild’s Hyrule, Shadow begins to rematerialize. He believes that he will not be trusted by the chain, but knows he has to warn them. So: he does what he’s best at, playing the villain.
He emerges and taunts the heroes, trying to bait them into feeling the need to hunt him down once he leaves. But it… doesn’t work. He leaves and they don’t give chase. This won’t do if he needs to bait them into finding the bad guy before he finds them. So, a few nights later, he does what any logical person would do: grabs a spare piece of cloth, sneaks in in the middle of the night, and steals the master sword.
We now begin the journey of Shadow and a very reluctant Fi in attempting to save the heroes while also not being killed by them. He gets all the Zelda’s in on it eventually, each of them telling the chain of the terrible things he’s done and how they simply must catch him. He burns down entirely fake towns and steals from fake people. While definitely not helping random civilians and bettering Hyrules along the way. He’s no hero, after all.
My demon friend has attachment issues.
As I have mentioned before, shadow can be seen sometimes in Four’s reflection or his, well, shadow. He is now confined in that form, he can no longer manifest a physical form since the dark mirror was shattered.
And because now he doesn’t have a lot to do, he passes the time messing around with Four or the others in every chance he gets, sometimes Four thinks he is going to get crazy because he is the only one who listens Shadow and he just won’t shut up. “Hey, Link pst, let me talk with Vio. Come on, just five minutes, you have been together for too long… Link, Link, hey, are you ignoring me, dork? You are sooo rude”
His favorite hobby actually is creating stupid nicknames for the chain as Four is the only one he is calling “Link” and finds the situation really funny.
