i. Don’t wander into the pit of the unknown. It will only leave you restless and anxious about the dystopian future that you are imagining for yourself. Don’t be a ‘five minutes from now’ person. Breathe. Focus on your hands. Focus on what is around you. Focus on the path that is in front of you. Breathe. Carefully navigate to your situation. You can always find a graceful way to turn it around. Just breathe.

ii. There is only too much that you can handle. I know that you believe that you are capable and that you are so used to being alone but you don’t have to take everything for yourself. The world is only heavy when you carry it with your own hands. It is also a courageous act to let others help you.

iii. Not everything is made out of codes, formulas and equations. Don’t calculate every moment and wait for an expected outcome to arrive. Overanalyzing will only drain you. Disappointments are more likely if you measure everything. The best memories are the spontaneous and unplanned ones. It is okay to let loose every once in a while. It is okay to let your guard down. Live your life without wanting to control everything and you will find the missing piece in your void.

iv. You don’t have to define everything. You will run out of words. You will feel things that sentences can never contain. Don’t let these instances frustrate you. Enjoy the silence and the flow of heartbeats. You will only have it very rarely. Hold on to that state. Others die just to feel that way.

v. Don’t condemn happiness just because you have grown comfortable with loneliness. Don’t slam your doors to the ones knocking on it just because you have been so used to being alone. Don’t be terrified of being seen in the light just because you have always been hidden in the dark. Don’t be guilty of wanting to leave misery for recovery.
