Autism. Is. A. Disability. Autism is a disability!! How many times do people have to say it? It’s not just a neurotype, it’s not just our brains working differently, it’s not JUST THAT. I’m angry by this stupid debate. If your autism doesn’t affect you as much, great! But sometimes it affects people. It affects them greatly. I can’t go out by myself, I have meltdowns, I can’t cook complicated things, I can’t be alone for extended periods of time, I’ll never live alone probably, I have bad sensory issues. THATS A DISABILITY. MY AUTISM IS A DISABILITY. If you can’t say the word disabled or think it’s bad, then you need to do some self reflection. I’m tired of this debate. It’s getting old and frustrating. Stop it. You can identify as you want I don’t care, but don’t go around telling people how they should identify.

Autism plus anxiety culture is wanting to wear headphones/earplugs because of the noise, but deciding not to because you're worried you won't be able to hear enough of your surroundings to protect yourself from cars and people.

Doctors refusing gender-affirming treatment to autistic patients because of their autism is especially diabolical when you realize that autistic people are much more likely than allistics to be transgender or nonbinary.

They're trying to get rid of us completely, using our autism to claim that we're not competent enough to have bodily autonomy.

Can allistic trans people stop ignoring this issue please. Autism isn't some funny quirky neurospicy autism creature shit, ableism against us is very real and makes us a great target for transphobes.

So this is what I mean:

Mandos woke up, chose violence, doubled down on that violence, and fell on their noses.

Like, guys, not to criticize, but before seeing these panels I had a ridiculously different concept of what happened at Galidraan. Like, I thought it was a result of a slow slide to the Dark Side by Dooku. I have read fic that goes, “Oh, the Jedi just assumed we were guilty! They didn’t stop to speak!! They just massacred us!!!” And like… dude, they began deflecting your shots, after which you began using wrist rockets and such. All this after they specifically told you what the accusation was and gave you reassurance that they would see to your fair treatment.

This really changes everything. I mean. I thought, based on what fandom and lots of fanfiction told me, that the Jedi literally arrived and started slaughtering the Mandalorians.

Which isn’t very much like Jedi, but it was Dooku, so I thought it was supposed to show how he’s falling. But no. It’s not that at all.

I’ve not seen the full canon comics or anything, but are we just gonna ignore that the Jedi in that strip all had their lightsabers activated and were surrounding the True Mando’s dug in camp from above like they were raring for battle immediately though?

The Jedi might have warned them of their charges and said they’d play fair, but body language is key. If the Jedi just showed up as a horde, weapons drawn and activated, whilst claiming the high ground on the Mando camp, that doesn’t seem very chill or like they’ll let the Mandos state their piece on what’s actually happening. Given the history of their people, I’m not at all surprised that the Mandos saw that as a threat and not to trust them at their word.

I’m not saying the Jedi or Dooku are to blame overall, nor are the True Mandos because they were both manipulated, but can we stop dumping on one or the other without acknowledging the minor faults of both sides and major fault of the sith who probs orchestrated it all to get rid of opposition??

This ‘revelation’ that Mandos shot first changes nothing, Galidraan was and always has been a clusterfuck for all involved.
