Euan Walker HND 2C Photography

For this brief I decided to photograph some local Rallying at Knockhill. I really enjoy motorsport and so when the opportunity arose I was quick to take it. I went with my dad and spent the day at the track trialling different techniques. It was difficult to shoot using a wide lens as I could only get so close to the track. 

I really enjoyed this brief as it combined the 2 things I love.

For my editorial I was keen to photograph in a location just around the corner from my flat. The location is an old skatepark with loads of graffiti and rubbish. There used to be an old black leather sofa which I planned to use in multiple shots however upon scoping the park out a couple of days out before the shoot I discovered the sofa was gone which made me rethink the shots I wanted. Luckily there was a shopping trolley there instead which I was able to use. 

Overall I was happy with how the shoot and images turned out and I was left with plenty of options. 

I decided to photograph some tailors within Glasgow as I enjoyed photographing an employee in a tailors for people at work. My aim with the project was just to show off the Tailors and the art of tailoring. I went to 2 tailors and both allowed me to photograph the clothing. I asked one of the shops about portraits and I was told to email however I never received a response.
