You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 The Lord encourages us to seek Him with all our heart and all our soul. If we do pursue Him with everything within us, He promises that we will find Him. But how often we give excuses, I am too busy, I have so much to do, I cannot wake up early…so on and so forth. But prayer makes a profound difference in our lives. Through prayer, children of God have seen great victories, deliverances and healings and so much more. The enemy knows the power of prayer and that is why he keeps us away from God. Will you devote yourself to prayer a few minutes every day? See the difference it makes in your life.

…and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21). The most important message of the Christmas story is the fact that God has come to earth to bring us salvation. The angel announced it to Joseph: “He will save His people from their sins.” That’s what Christmas is about and it’s what the whole life and death of Jesus was about. Here is the challenge of this season: Receive the gift of salvation Jesus brings. Salvation is within reach because of Jesus. Jesus has come and He can save you from your sins and give you a life eternal.

Developing a relationship with God is much like developing a relationship with other people. 

We spend time with them through talking, opening our hearts to them, and listening to them. We acknowledge when we’ve done something wrong and ask for forgiveness. We try to treat them well and sacrifice our own needs to fulfil theirs. The same happens with our relationship with God.

Jesus Christ- He’s the King of Kings and He is the Lord of Lords and yet humble enough to call me, friend. He spoke the world into existence but He took time to knit me in my mother’s womb. He is the Son of God, yet He is my Saviour, my Healer, my Deliverer. He holds the whole Universe in His hand but has carefully engraved me in the palm of His hand. He is before all things and in Him all things all held together. His love is unconditional, His grace is limitless. He is the well spring of wisdom yet He picks the foolish things of the world. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Do you know Him?

(1 John 4:7-11) Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. (John 13:34-35) “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that You are my disciples, if you love one another.” Heavenly Father, In everything we do, help us to demonstrate Your love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Matthew 7:14 But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. This is the path of following God’s will rather than our own, of firm promises and marital faithfulness, of reconciliation, turning cheeks, and anonymous charity, of true spirituality and choosing God above possessions. The broad road feels free, that leaves no room for God, but it leads to death and hell The narrow road initially looks constricting, but it leads to eternal life. Which gate are you entering?
