Who the heck is my muse anyway:
The adorable, easily excitable champion of the Silver League, more seriously the HG/SS male protag.
Points of interest:
Ethan took about 4 years to finally beat the Silver League, his mom fell very ill and he went home for a while to be with her before continuing. However, shortly after he turned 15 and beat the Kanto league, she passed away.
Ethan has separation anxiety when his Typhlosion isn’t with him.
Over the years (verses) he mellows out quite a bit from his speedy excited personality to a passionate and calm champion.

Where to find them:
In General: You can literally find this kid anywhere. There’s no stopping him from reaching a destination or exploring.
Kanto/Johto: If in Johto, he spends a lot of time in Olivine City or Goldenrod. Though his favorite place to be is the National Park. However, if he heads over to Kanto, he really loves the area around Celadon.

Aipom was Ethan’s first real Pokemon. Shelly, his mother’s Nidorina, was more like a governess than a Pokemon to him; Aipom was different. Ethan was about three when he was hatched from an egg by Professor Elm. Getting to watch from the comfort of his father’s arms, it was his first real encounter with the way the world works.
While the Nishimura family claims ‘Pompom’ as a family Pokemon, Ethan does all the work to take care of him, and is the only one who can get the little monkey back into his Pokeball.
On adventures past the yard, Pompom always accompanies Ethan, Pokeball and all. This gave them both a taste of adventure that sparked the never ending stream of energy Ethan had as a youngin’.
Through many a bad days, scraped knees, and no second deserts, Pompom has been there to console his buddy by pulling weird faces, or stealing Ethan’s hat and running about the yard with it in his tail. Resulting in the two of them full of laughter and eventually exhausted enough for a nap.
One of Ethan’s worst nightmares is about losing Pompom in a house fire. The dream happened on a night dinner decided it was a Charizard, and burnt up the cabinets above the stove.
