It’s a *Toy* Story 🤠

You knew it! My new original song “I Knew It, I Knew You” for Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 will be yours on June 5th. I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie. I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?

So I heard yesterday, that Ted Turner, the founder of Turner Broadcasting System, and channels, CNN, TBS, TNT, and Cartoon Network has sadly passed away at the age of 87.

As a Gen Z person here, I grew up with cable channels that mostly owned by Turner (now all of them are owned by Warner Bros. Discovery) back in the 2000s.

My new buys from the My Nintendo Store on the official Nintendo of America website and Amazon via Prime membership. I got a replacement USB-C charger for my Nintendo Switch 2, after I lost my previous one at McDonald’s, and Super Mario Galaxy™ + Super Mario Galaxy 2 / Super Mario Bros.™ 40th Anniversary Pin Set (for My Nintendo rewards members like me here, who has lots of Platinum Points, I have 2385 points, and I get points every time I play games on the Nintendo Switch 2 console), and I pre-ordered The Casagrandes: Peppers Primavera! graphic novel last year on November 27, 2025 from Amazon, back when I had a Prime subscription.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is now playing in theatres! 😀 I'm hyped to see this tomorrow in theatres at 11:30am CST at one of my local AMC Theatres locations at South Barrington 24 in South Barrington, IL (a suburban city of Chicago). I'll be making a video from my visit there and my review of the movie. As a lifelong longtime fan of the Mario series, as I've been playing the franchise since 2011 (before that year, I played Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem on the Nintendo DSi in 2010) starting with Super Mario 3D Land on the Nintendo 3DS.
