I am writing this a month before your birthday. I am on my way home and I am currently listening to invisible string by taylor swift. I know, you don't listen to her unless I ask you to (or force you to hehe). Anyway, it made me think and realize that taylor swift was right— all along there was some invisible string tying you to me. Meeting you was't accidental; it was the result of various moments and decisions in my life that led me to you— I wasn't just existing in a world where there was you, I exist because I am meant to be with you, as you are meant to be with me. It took us years to meet, I had to go through heartbreaks, I had to meet a lot of people, all of which eventually led me to you. Looking back, it's funny to think that I was talking to you about a heartbreak, not knowing that one day, I won't even remember a single memory of that heartbreak. And that one day, I'd be with you, the love of my life.
My palangging, I know I've said this again and again but let me say it once more— it has always been you. My life has been more fun with you in it. I've always thought that I was meant to be alone, to navigate the world without truly knowing someone and without being known, then there was you. I aspire to be as kind and selfless as you.
