My primary dork, Katamine. His name is unfortunate but his biological parents were pretty on the record for not being the best parents. They abandoned him on Heles' doorstep. Not like Kata minds much considering Heles did raise him in their stead. He owns a troodon prehistoria he named Kano, whose height is surprisingly large for his species' standard. Most troodon measure to be about as big as a thoroughbred. Not that Kano has it bad considering Kata touches 7 feet in height with ease wearing his lock heels.

Kata is a hypersthene geode, which puts him below the cluster racing standard for hardness alongside his mount, which adopts his geode. If that wasn't enough, he was born with a blood condition that messes with his immune system, and this makes his want to race even more dangerous.

Granted, that doesn't quite scare him for many reasons. He's rarely sober, for one. For another, he reluctantly relies on his friends.

Primrose and Mahon are especially concerned with his behaviors and his unusual dream of becoming the best cluster racer on the planet. Though they might fear he doesn't make it if he doesn't get his shit together.

More recently, one of his bosses, Thales, thinks he's the best match to mentor Illio and his team for the races. Needless to say he doesn't like him or really anyone beyond his circle.

Two comrades on training! Illio tries his best to control his Velociraptor's impulses to wander off after the first thing that moves, which Yevar understands as the owner of an adventurous pterosaur. These are two of the protagonists out of many more for the DECA project!
