Was Grant still in the reserves or national guard when he passed? If so the military usually has life insurance on them. Have you looked into that? I only ask because I know you said you're struggling financially since he's been gone and if that's the case that may help. Sorry I'm not trying to be invasive I just wanted to make sure you knew about the life insurance.

I'm so so incredibly sorry for your loss. I can only imagine what it would be like to lose your significant other, and yet what I imagine for myself is truly terrible.
