Domundi 2026 Lineup Ranking + Thoughts!
I had to take 5 whole business days to process the entirety of the lineup because DAMN.
This is just my personal opinion!
Unknown Lover (ThomasKong)
This is absolutely #1 on my will-1000%-watch list. Being from the East Coast and having visited NYC several times, I was bracing myself for the level of belief I was going to have to suspend to be convinced by a campy green screen background version of Manhattan, but they filmed everything on site!! It feels slightly meta to see them in such recognizable locations, but NYC as the setting choice seems almost like an intentional metaphor for Kong's character losing and finding himself again in this sprawling crucible of a city that is the pop culture symbol of new beginnings and chance encounters. Plus the jazzy background music, beautiful color grading, sparse but intense dialogue, Anwar being a casual dater who is not portrayed as a one-dimensional piece of sht, the subtle, hushed acting... The storyline and location choice is ambitious, but the mature, indie-film aesthetic was absolutely the right move, and Domundi is truly expanding the horizons of Thai BL with this one. I need it yesterday!!
2. Still Holding Up Like the Moon (KengNamping)
Wow. This trailer absolutely blew me away, and KengNamping refuse to make bad shows because I know this one will be just as achingly beautiful and superbly crafted as Khemjira. The time-travel element is multilayered, and I loved how the trailer slowly revealed what actually happened as we got to find out, alongside Namping's character, the truth to Duean's story. Keng's acting sent chills down my spine, and although I really do not want to see Mean Phiravich in any BL again, I will not let that stop me from loving this show. It is not only a romance but a glimpse into the Thai film industry in the 80s, and its approach to navigating queer identity during those times feels similar to MileApo's Shine (give or take a decade) in the best way possible. 100% sat and ready to be emotionally wrecked!!
3. The Scent of Sorrow (TutorYim, TleFirstOne)
Not this being a literal horror story when I was so ready for a soft, fluffy period romance 🤡 But finally something that will showcase all that TutorYim have got to give!! I was reminded of how much I love TutorYim after starting ChermChey; that spark that I saw in CutiePie was finally back, and I dare say it is even stronger in this trailer. Dramatic, steamy, mysterious and gory was definitely not on my TutorYim bingo card for 2026, but it absolutely works, and the love triangle with Tle is kind of perfect. The folk horror element feels familiar but the historical setting gives it a fresh twist, and FirstOne in uniform is the cutest thing ever. Khemjira has increased my tolerance for horror/gore in BL, and TleFirstOne as the side couple could convince me to watch literally any show on this earth, so I'm definitely sat for this one.
4. 30 Days of Us (NetJJ)
Just hit me with a brick at this point, it would hurt less ☹️ I definitely did not see this type of plot coming for NetJJ, but I was sold from the moment I saw that first relationship snapshot sequence. I'm such a sucker for soft indie aesthetics, and the muted color palette, symbolism and framing are so perfect for this story. Another new location, and what is Japan if not for its emotionally damaging plots? The characters feel so raw and real, and I'm literally tearing up just thinking about them because that feeling of wanting something to work out so badly, and thinking it will, but also knowing that everything is fleeting and nothing is perfect and no one is guaranteed, is so painful yet so universal. I am definitely not ready for this one, but I know it will be so stunning.
5. Into Racha (NorthOtto)
Maybe it's the Duang With You recency bias, but I truly cannot get enough of NorthOtto's chemistry and dynamic. At first glance, RachaA-zhen might seem like they lean into more typical power imbalance dynamics unlike JamieMarvis (who are more on the "walk 'em like a dog" end of the scale), but them being exes levels out the playing field a bit. Scenes that might feel contrived or overdone, like Racha protecting A-zhen from touchy customers or cleaning his wound after hitting him with his car, have more layers because of their complicated relationship, and A-zhen is more than capable of protecting himself, which is why Racha doing it for him despite that feels like more than just the action itself. Plus Ohm playing the mean girl is the absolute cherry on top. Somebody get this man a partner asapppp
6. Passenger Seat Number X (ZeeNunew)
Domundi really said, "Go text your ex!!" This is cute, vibrant, and I love college sweethearts (well, at least for one of them). Though the CEO x flight attendant trope that it ultimately becomes is...a choice, I believe it's negligible in light of the exes-to-lovers trope, so in ZeeNunew's chemistry we trust. I do wish the captain trying to hit on Nunew's character was played by a different actor, but I'm sat as I always am for ZeeNunew shows, whether I intend to be or not.
7. Friend Benefit (TeeteePor, AuauSave)
Now, when I said I wanted red flag Teetee...I didn't mean I wanted emotional damage for Por and everyone watching, too 😭 This is giving me war flashbacks to Theory of Love in which Off's character was so insufferably selfish, ignorant, and overall such a terrible person that the story was essentially irredeemable and all I wanted was for Gun's character to end up with literally anyone else 🤡 While a complete 180 from Duang With You is one way to ward off any sort of typecasting, I think that as a fandom, we are collectively not yet ready to let go of the emerald green flag that is Duang Cheewin. Thankfully, we probably have 1-2 business years to wait for this show, but that does not guarantee that I will be at all emotionally nor mentally prepared to witness TeeteePor go through a Theory of Love-level friendzone emotional damage wringer. I will watch this for the Teeteepor and AuauSave content...but at what cost
8. 20 Lists (RyujinPatji, TheeWave(???))
I have a major soft spot for highschool BLs, and this one is no exception, even if it has basically the exact same plot and character dynamics that I have seen a million and one times. I sense a bit of Boys Over Flowers sprinkled in with the conversation about wealth disparities, the "social gathering", the very brief love triangle(?) with Phupha...it's cute, it's fluffy, and it suits RyujinPatji well. I very intensely wanted TheeWave in a university BL because I feel like they would have such good adult chemistry, but I'll take what I can get...! Will be watching primarily for the TheeWave crumbs (and I may be hallucinating but PeteReeonn????)
9. Did You Know (ClaudinePraew)
Domundi is (finally) venturing into the GL scene!! I love that they are immediately giving us working adults with complex conflicts. The color grading is gorgeous and vibrant, and I like the mixed settings of the hospital, the hotel and everywhere in between. I love a good yearner in a GL, and Claudine is already pulling it off flawlessly. While the plot is familiar, the faces are new and their chemistry is convincing, so I will definitely check out at least the first episode.
10. My Merman (TleFirstOne, LatteKim)
So...if I ignore the first 2.5 minutes of this trailer, it is an absolutely charming, soft-tinted, sparkly little gem of a show. I adore TleFirstOne with all my heart, and I have (slightly desperate) faith that the mermaid attire and special effects in the final cut will be much improved. Props to Domundi for always trying something new; I am hoping for The Next Prince level costumes and set design, as this show ultimately has so much potential, from its leads to its side couple to its unique twist on a literal fairytale.
11. No. 1 Student (CopperFifa)
I have to admit I am not super familiar with these faces, but their chemistry has piqued my interest. The family angst feels a bit contrived, but when done right, it can really add to a character's depth and provide necessary context (a recent Domundi example of this being Duang With You), so I will definitely be tuning in, especially if they overcome the initial angst/enemies arc earlier on (if it's a school BL, I'm here for the romance!!)
Bonus: UKE (Namping, Otto, Kim, Ohm, Plustor)
The way this almost made me cry?? This topic is clearly personal to many of the actors involved in this show, and I truly have to give hats off to Domundi for not only piloting something like this, but also casting the very people whom the conversation often involves to represent the unfortunately real experiences of feminine and/or queer men in the BL industry. This is a wakeup call for consumers of queer media; that these roles, expectations and stereotypes that have formed as a result of rigid frameworks for BLs have warped perceptions of what is ultimately the identity and lived experience of real people in this world. I am 1000% watching this, and I hope many others will, too.
Domundi has truly pulled out all the stops this year! I am waiting with bated breath for each and every one of these shows. There is only one way forward...and that is deeper into obsession!
So what did you think of DYTD? I personally felt like it was really badly written but JoongDunk did their absolute best with what they were given.
i've been so inactive i just saw this, sorry!!
i think the show never clicked for me as a thriller/mystery; i had to kind of take it unseriously in order for me to enjoy the cheesy romance. i think the stories could have worked separately (college m*rder mystery / police officer romance), but the violence was such a forced and quite honestly disturbing contrast to the rose-tinted office romance only jadekamin were immersed in that instead of working together to make a good show, the two genres created a dissonance that was impossible to ignore, and dytd ended up being a show that feels badly written, badly directed and halfheartedly edited, even though the production quality itself is not bad at all, and jadekamin are still my favorite joongdunk dynamic. i think the biggest problem for me that i had with dytd that i didn't with other shows like manner of death or spare me your mercy, which have similar elements of crime and mystery alongside romance, is that the m*rders were not critical to the development of jadekamin's relationship. sure, they were put on the case together, but it could have worked with any other criminal case. the victims had no actual relation to the main characters which could have placed tension between them like it does in mod or smym (jay being jade's brother could have been such a good plot point but it kind of went nowhere), and most critically, jadekamin themselves didn't seem to remember half the time that there were literal lives at stake. so ultimately, i really enjoyed jade and kamin as characters (kamin a bit more than jade because he just felt more multidimensional and fully fleshed-out to me), as well as the romance, but the crime aspect fell flat and ultimately knocked the show down quite a few tiers.
i resonate with duang on such a deep level. taking jokes/metaphors literally, stimming, overachieving in art but feeling like he's not good at anything else, everyone calling him "unique", not knowing his limits when it comes to his hyperfixation...you are seen and you are heard and you are loved, podduang cheewin 🤍
duang with you: the only thai bl ever to have a school dance performance by the main leads that was actually necessary for the plot

kamin is everything i've ever wanted from a dunk character!!!!! intelligent, reserved but well-spoken and an Adult™ who knows that a) he is sexy and b) his new coworker is sexy and he will be getting a piece of that, thank you very much.
dare you to death is doing everything right for me in terms of the romance—they didn't draw out the back-and-forth, will-they-won't-they for any longer than necessary because let's be so ffr, both jade and kamin know they find each other hot and don't give two damns about HR violations. just two adult men, secure in their sexualities, professional but not naive to their attraction, navigating love alongside their careers (the mind-boggling brutality and absurd timeline of the serial murders occurring simultaneously with this romance is...a topic for another time). this is my favorite joongdunk dynamic by FAR—if their chemistry was simmering in other shows, it is SIZZLING in this one!!
I just finished rewatching ThamePo and was having WilliamEst withdrawals, and now they're on my screen again in Me and Thee but once again as star-crossed lovers and I don't know how much longer I can take this 💔💔💔💔
I love how both Thee and Rome see this person they are endlessly charmed and endeared by, head-over-heels in love with, would do anything for and would crumble at their first request, and go "I'm going to be an absolute menace to this person 24/7 to the best of my abilities"
The Arseni Brothers
They actually make a very convincing pair of biological brothers, considering GMMTV's track record of trying to shoehorn CPs into shows and ending up with siblings who look nothing alike (I could go on about this as someone who's been watching GMMTV for over five years now). In fact, I'd believe it if you told me Pond and William were first cast as Thee and Rome, and then Est was cast as Mok because he's William's partner (though Est suits the role of Mok too well to not have been cast intentionally). Perhaps it's a great coincidence that Pond and William play brothers very well, but if it is, they're doing it flawlessly.
Mok Body(guard) Fit Appreciation Post
Because we all know Thee's at the top of the fashion game...But his assistant is always looking tall, dark and handsome, too.
1. The Bodyguard Classic™
The contrast of the white shirt with the black tie and blazer is just *mwah* chef's kiss 🤌🤌🧑🍳🧑🍳
2. The All Black
Yummy. Sorry, what? Who said that.
3. The Harness
With or without the vest, it's just too good. But personally I prefer without 😶🌫️
4. The Classic™ Pro (aka With a Vest)
I didn't notice that this was different from The Classic until recently. It's giving hot businessman, I love it.
5. The Black Turtleneck
Has yet to make an appearance since its dramatic introduction in ep 1. Hoping it will make a comeback soon 😋
6. The Attempts at Casual
Of course, even his elephant merch must be in black & white, too.
7. The (Slightly Unbuttoned) Black Button-Up
10/10 NO NOTES. GORGEOUS, BRILLIANT, GLOWING, BEAUTIFUL, MWAH MWAH MWAH. GIVE ME MORE OF THIS PLEASE.

THEY'RE FINALLY HERE I'M SCREAMINGGGGGG
I haven't read the novel, so all I know is that Mok deserves the most gorgeous sexy 7 days with his secret boo (who I hear is Thee's younger brother...?? Excited to see how that plays out). I'm slightly confused why Mok is still in his bodyguard attire/role if he's on leave, but maybe they're freaky like that 🤪
GIMME THE NEXT EP NEOWWWW
Thai BLs I'm Watching!!
Currently Airing
Burnout Syndrome (OffGun, Dew)
THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR FROM OFFGUN SINCE NOT ME IN 2021!!!! Raw, real, sensual, slow yet fast, darkly humorous and unabashedly queer. The music is tastefully chosen and placed, the dialogue is intentional and every shot is like a movement in a choreographed dance. And I love that the characters are all adults who act like it—stuck in between a rock and a hard place, searching for any outlet. Carefully praying that they keep this up because this has the potential to be a work of art.
2. Me and Thee (PondPhuwin)
Thee is such a goofy but well-written character. He seems so childlike and confused 90% of the time, but you know there's more to him than meets the eye. Pond is pulling his role off flawlessly, I have no notes. Peach comes off as slightly flat to me, but I guess the whole point is that he's supposed to be "boring" to everyone except Thee and people like Plub and Aran who know him well. Est is absolutely stealing the show for me with his one-liners, flawless suit fit and gorgeous visuals, and I live for his microexpressions. The changes in his facial expressions when he got that message from Rome I CRIED YOU CRIED WE ALL CRODE RomeMok spinoff PLEASE I BEG
3. Head2Head (SeaKeen)
I actually just recently started watching this so I'm only on ep 2, but I'm already in love with this Bad Buddy-esque chaos of a show. J is just the right balance of brattiness and sensitivity, and Jinn is always putting on a show. What I didn't expect to love this much was SurfJava!! I am such a sucker for brat-who-pretends-he's-an-idiot x tsundere-who's-(not) secretly-in-love-with-him, and SurfJava are just perfect. College shows tend to be a hit-or-miss for me, but this one has all the elements I love: unique majors (fashion design!! that's a new one), a cute side couple but not a giant ensemble, and a friend group who actually act like friends (Jinn calling Van to rant about having to take care of J while Farm was spoon-feeing Van snacks was so real). Definitely going to keep watching!
Binge Watching
Khemjira (KengNamping, TleFirstone)
Not gonna lie this is very much out of my comfort zone, and I only just finished episode 1 so all I have to say is that the ghosts creep me out. But Firstone is absolutely adorable, he reminds me a bit of Mix just younger and goofier. Keng is gorgeous of course, and glasses suit Tle. I love KengNamping as a pair and am very much looking forward to their magical wizard animagus soulmate rom-com with ThomasKong and JimmyOhm (which, knowing Domundi, we can only hope airs sometime in the next decade), but in the meanwhile I'll keep watching Khemjira and pray I don't get nightmares.
Please give me recs for anything else to watch!!
GMMTV 2026 Most Anticipated Shows!!
This is just my personal opinion!
For reference, I am a total sucker for high school/coming-of-age/slice-of-life shows, especially ones with a touch of hardships that just come with daily life. To that end, I also love angst, pining and a bit of mess, but only when it's internal/done right (not a huge fan of angst spurred by money/family/revenge). Could be convinced by action/drama.
1. You Maniac (WilliamEst, BarcodeKin)
Because whose number 1 isn't this show???!?!?! ThamePo was my absolute favorite BL of 2025 (followed by Boys In Love), and WilliamEst are going places I never thought they'd go. But I'm shook, you're shook, your dog's shook and we're all shaking in anticipation for the day they release this juggernaut that is sure to shake the industry. I love messy, emotional gays who think they can do no strings attached until they meet each other and all logic flies out the window. WilliamEst as red flags is something I didn't know I needed until now, plus Barcode as wingman and comedic relief is just the cherry on top. I apologize in advance for the person I'm going to become when this airs, because trust I will be screaming about this!!
2. 17th Spring (ChokunAston, PodPapang)
My babies!!!!! I can't believe they got a show, I'm literally going to scream. This is such a different dynamic from KimMon in Boys In Love, but I love it so dearly already. This is exactly my cup of tea—a heartfelt coming-of-age story about pain, family, and growth, with an older couple (PodPapang!!!) who also face their own hardships as they navigate life. I love how they don't shy away from the discussion of HIV and what it's like not only health-wise but also how it affects friendships and budding relationships, and I know Chokun and Aston are going to pull these roles off in the most earnest and sincere way. The plot and characters remind me a bit of HeartLiming in Moonlight Chicken, who are my all-time favorite pair. I know this is directed by New Siwaj who has a questionable track record, but My Only 12% (which has similar elements of coming-of-age and family) was good, and I have faith that 17th Spring can be great if not incredible.
3. Twenty One (JuniorMark, NutHong)
I've never watched a series with JuniorMark in it but I've heard so much, and I'm already 1000% convinced by their chemistry in this trailer alone!! I love how they go from coworkers to friends to lovers(?) with a side of pining, mixed feelings and city life (I love love love that they're a bouncer and singer at a bar, it's so refreshing and real). AND NUTHONG!!!! I've been shipping them since ThamePo and I can't believe GMMTV actually gave them to us. So excited for this one!!!
4. Moonshadow (EmiBonnie, Film)
A sugar baby trope, let alone one for a GL, was not in my 2026 bingo card, but I'm SO HERE FOR IT!! EmiBonnie's chemistry is absolutely on fire, and I love both the internal conflict that comes with the power dynamics, as well as the external conflict with Film in her villain era. Bonnie does yearning so well, and I've seen Emi in so many different roles, but her as a sugar mommy just has me on my knees. Praying for an early release!! (Please I can't wait a whole year like we did with Us)
5. Weirdo-101 (SeaKeen)
This might be a controversial one to put so high up, but I've recently been bingeing everything SeaKeen, and I'm absolutely obsessed!! Their dynamic in every show is so different, and Sea as a nerd is the CUTEST THING TO GRACE THIS PLANET!! I'm not the biggest fan of how the title implies that this clearly neurodivergent teen is a weirdo, but I'll cut them the same slack I cut 23.5 for calling Aylin an alien. Sea's "free hug kap" from the trailer lives rent-free in my mind, and Aston as Keen's taekwondo bestie, Aungpao as Keen's friend with an obvious unrequited crush on him, and Thor as the taekwondo master(?) sealed the deal for me. This looks like a sweet coming-of-age story, maybe a little less sincere and down-to-earth than 17th Spring, but I'm sat for SeaKeen who already have such a diverse portfolio and deserve all the recognition.
6. My Professional Boyfriend (WinnySatang)
From prince and fisherman to debtor-turned-escort and clan heir, WinnySatang are really following this year's trend of turning typecasting onto its head. I'm not the biggest fan of miscommunication/lying plots, but the visuals, Chinese elements and unique dynamic are too good to ignore. Plus June and Ployphach look gorgeous, and WinnySatang's physical chemistry have absolutely exploded off the charts. Satang plays coy and seductive surprisingly well, and rich looks good on Winny. Looking forward to seeing how this one evolves in the final cut!
7. Enemies With Benefits (JanJingjing)
Jan girl kisser era again (it's been so long since The Warp Effect)!!! Never saw this one coming but I'm so so excited, their chemistry is already incredible and I love a good secret relationship (or FWB-ship). I'm not as big of a fan of college/office shows (in my mind they're along the same vein because office shows often feature college interns or vice versa (looking at you How to Survive My CEO and Plan B to U)), but this one is funny, refreshing and pretty. Plus KapookCiize??? I'm sold. GIVE IT TO ME NOWWW
8. The Invisible Dragon (FirstKhao)
I'm not gonna lie, when I first watched all of the trailers, this one did not catch my eye at all. I like my FirstKhao a tiny bit toxic (I blame Only Friends), and this felt like Cat for Cash all over again—no plot, just pretty shots and prettier criers dispersed throughout. But then I watched it again, and for some reason it just hit me like a brick. The family drama, the way FirstKhao look at each other, the beautiful scenery—even though it looks like the pilot trailer was shot in a grand total of 2 hours in one (1) location, it's still so beautiful and heartfelt. Only FirstKhao could pull off something like talking cats and dragon dancers as the sole plot device of an entire show, and I want so badly for this to have the same vibe as Moonlight Chicken. I hope the official trailer has more than just the few breadcrumbs this gave us!!
9. Lovers & Gangsters (ForceBook, GreatBright)
This one might be surprising given my aversion to (fear of?) ganster/mafia BLs, but I can't deny it looks so good. ForceBook have improved exponentially over the years, and I feel like all of that is going to culminate in this show that will test their acting chops and push them outside their comfort zones. I'm not the biggest fan of betrayal/lying plots, but Great with a new pair will be interesting. I may be turned away by the violence, but trust I will be sat for at least the first episode.
10. Good Boy (LukeMick)
Me watching the Good Boy pilot for the first time, thinking it's a TayNew pilot: Hmm New is playing a burnt-out office worker again? And what does that have to do with good boys?
Me 10 seconds later: LUKEMICK!!!!!
My shaylaaaa omg I love these pookies so much. I love how everyone's just doing opposite dynamics this year—this time, Luke is the class president and Mick is the troublemaker!! I do wish there were some side couples since I'm not sure the time travel plot itself will be enough to fill an entire show, but with how many series GMMTV is planning to release in 2026, I wouldn't be surprised if this only had 8 or so episodes. It's giving My School President with a sprinkle of Boys In Love and every other high school BL ever, but I'll love it every time. 2389578942 bonus points for casting TayNew as LukeMick's older selves—I never saw the resemblance before, but it's uncanny! Will watch when I need fluff and puppy love in my life.
Honorable Mention: When Oranges Fall (AlmondProgress)
I bought the Thai version of this novel when I visited Thailand in 2023 simply because I liked the cover (I can't read Thai lol), and I can't believe it has a live action now! I'll finally know what it's about... I haven't watched LoveSick 2024 but AlmondProgress are so adorable, and this also looks like a super down-to-earth coming-of-age story. May or may not watch, but looks so cute.
