"Shall I shuffle them? Or would you like too?" Celes’ voice remained it’s sweet tone, almost like she was speaking to a child. She only continued to speak that way since it seemed to be comforting the student. 

His golden orbs watched her bring out her cards from her jacket. The gothic lolita girl fiddle with the cards in her hands for a little bit.

"Shall I shuffle them Or would you like too?"

He took a quick glance at her face, having a soft look to it. He slowly look at her hands, seeing the cards. It wants to try, but he doesn't want to make a fool out of himself. He began lightly tracing the cards in her hands before he gently grabbed onto them, his hands slightly trembling.

"I'll... try I suppose..." What was he thinking? He'll mess up for sure! He stared hard at the cards, feeling like they're taunting him. He slowly began shuffling the cards, trying hard not to mess up. A card slipped out of his hands which made him gasp slightly. A red, rosy colour made its way to his cheeks as he quickly put the card in the deck, shuffling them once again.

{✪}— She was building it up. It was evident. The way she warily chewed on her lip, the way her brows knitted in frustration and the way her cerulean optics shifted from one word to another justified that. She was trying her very best not to scream. To throw this damn thing out of the window and tell her parents that this was just not her forte at all and she doubted that it ever will.

But of course, money was spent for this item. She knew better than to waste her parents’ efforts in showing their support for her decision in attending the academy. But still, couldn’t they just give her a large supply of doughnuts? At least eating a doughnut was something that she could deem as a profession of hers.

"You’ve made a powerful enemy today, my friend…" Seated on the brunette’s desk was her very first laptop. A present she had just received yesterday from her parents and although it was second-handed, it looked like it was treated well by its first handler. Aoi had already spent an hour and a half trying to figure it out but she always ended up restarting it for some reason. It was amazing how she still managed to stop herself from screaming in frustration (though it was mostly because her roommate was asleep and she didn’t want to bother her).

After a few more clicks here and there, her laptop proceeded to restarting itself again and Aoi angrily stood up— nearly knocking her chair down. ‘What the hell?! This is just downright ridiculous!’ Without a word, she grabbed the device from her desk and stormed out of the room with a particular destination in mind.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

"Eep!" He slightly jumped in his seat to the loud thudding against his door. It was probably loud enough that it made his desk shake to make small ripples in his tea! However, that was just the programming imagining things.

"Fujisaki-chan! Are you there?! Open up!"

That usually bubbly voice is familar to him as he quickly got out from his desk and opened the door. There stood, an angry, Aoi Asahina. The Super Highschool Swimmer. Although, her face completely changed to her happy-go-lucky smile once the programmer was in sight. Or, perhaps, he was imagining again like always; he doesn't like to see anyone angry.

*gasps*

"D-Don't worry... I-It's fine...! I was interested i-in what your saying so... I-I kind of forgot! My name is Chihiro Fujisaki a-and it's nice to meet you...! I-I hope we can become good friends too, Nevermind-san...!"

"Really? I’m glad you agreed!" Her voice was still soft and sweet. Though, she had to think for a bit about which game. Something simple, something simple…

'Stupid of me...' he thought bitterly. He noticed her smile softening and watched her clasped her hands together.

"Really? I'm glad you agreed!" That sweetness in her voice made his pounding heart a little calmer. He was probably overreacting again. A bad habit that must be stopped.

"How about go fish? Who ever wins at that gets to have some tea?" Gold fish? That sounds like a simple game. It's basically luck afterall. The nervousness in his smile disappeared, feeling more relaxed then he was few minutes ago. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad. It's just a fun little game to see who gets the last tea cup.

"Sure...! I-I love too...!" He appily agreed. His expression changed to slight worry as he look at the entrance of the cafeteria.

Saionji smiled at the mention of a piggyback ride, but she was rather hesitant about it; it was no secret that this kid looked as fragile as it gets, but would she really be able to hold Saionji’s weight.  ”I-I can walk on my own!” she snapped.  She didn’t mean for it to come out so forceful, and she mentally scolded herself for it.  ”S-Sorry… I mean, I don’t need one!  I can walk on my own!”

To prove her point, the dancer got down from the table and walked in a couple of circles in the middle of the room, only wincing once or twice when a particularly horrible blister touched the cold, white linoleum.  ”So, after school?  Maybe we can go and get some food at the cafe down the street! Or we could go look at the shops by the back entrance of the school, or go to the bathhouse, or we could-” the list just went on and on, and the dancer found herself babbling after a while.  She definitely was a little kid when it came to handling her excitement.  After a moment she stopped and looked to the programmer.

He winced from the sudden raise in her voice. Was he pushing to hard and upset her? He's really stupid to think that they were friends--

"S-Sorry… I mean, I don’t need one!  I can walk on my own!"

He didn't know he being tensed until he relaxed his shoulders. He seriously needs to become stronger so he can be calm in these sort of situations. His golden eyes landed on the dancer as she circled around the room, noticing her wincing once or twice, but she did prove her point that she seems to be fine.

"So, after school?  Maybe we can go and get some food at the cafe down the street! Or we could go look at the shops by the back entrance of the school, or go to the bathhouse, or we could-"

Chihiro started to zone out from the huge list of ideas, but he... was staring at her with such happiness. From all his previous mess ups, she still wants to hang around him. A boring, weakling, person like him. Even offering with so much ideas that they could do... He can't express how grateful he is.

"I mean, uhh… Is there anything you want to do?"

His golden orbs sparkled, a warm smile shown on his lips, his hands classed on top of his chest, next to his heart. He doesn't know why he's feeling... so happy.

"I... I want to do all those things with you, Saionji-san...!" His smile widened into excitement.

     Now, this boy didn’t strike her as the betting/gambling type. In fact, she couldn’t see this boy anywhere near the places she’s been to. His attitude, however, amused her. From what she’s seen in class, he was a nice kid. A good student too, and a talent with programming. Why not have a little fun? Celes’ day has been lacking in action anyway.

"Well then, thank you for the offer, but how about we make this a little more entertaining."

Did he set her off? Did he came across as rude? What does she mean by entertaining?

"You wanna play a card game for it? Whoever wins get the cup of tea? Don’t worry, it doesn't have to be something complex like poker." Hearing a soft chuckle escaping passed her mouth made him shiver slightly. It was like she can see through his soul; it didn't help how people can easily read him.

"A... game?" He repeated those words, his small fingertips reaching for his lips in thought. He isn't really fantastic at games, but this made him question about her title. If she is asking for a game like this, she's probably good at them, which means he's doomed to lose. He gave her a nervous smile.

"Ah... I-I don't really do anything...! But... I-I would really like that..." He smiled happily, having a soft, pink colour to his cheeks. "Sitting in your d-dorm can be quite boring... I-I don't really do much myself..." He got off from the metal table, turning around to face her. 

     Celestia was walking in the school cafeteria. Her red heels clicked against the smooth sleek tile. The sun was shining bright through the windows, illuminating the room. Salty and sweet scents filled the large place. Celestia, however, had no desire to eat. She only wanted her afternoon tea. Royal milk tea to be exact. It was her favorite. 

     Gracefully, she sat down. Her legs crossed under the table in a corner. Her hands, neatly folded on top of it. The gothic girls crimson eyes scanned the room. Only a few students were around. They, however, were on the other side of the large room. This did not disturb Celes, however, because she enjoyed being alone. 

     Then, she saw one of her classmates, Chihiro Fujisaki, if she remembered correctly. The young student was coming towards her. The gothic girl raised an eyebrow as the student drew closer. It would only be polite to greet him. “Hello.” The girl said delicately. Her lips forming a subtle smile.

But he is only coming here for a reason. He was going to the cafeteria for some tea himself. Going to the counter, he looked at all the choices, but the one tea that stand out the most. Royal Milk tea. He asked the guy at the counter if he could have some tea.

"Ah sorry! We're down to last cup. Plus, we have a customer who really enjoys that tea." He replied, looking slightly worried than usual. "You should go let her know."

And that's where he is. Walking over to the Queen himself. He could feel his hands trembling behind his back.

"Hello."
