The last thing they wanted was to draw any more unwanted attention than they no doubt already would with such a stunt.            The brunette peers over Akon’s shoulder momentarily, watching as he works upon the device within his grasp. It’s only at the mention of a folding board that she looks away, reaching to find the object in question.             ❝Where in the world did you get something like this?❞ she asks, unfolding it to it’s full size. ❝It’s genius.❞

He chuckled softly and tucked his board under one arm as they began the ascent of a sizable hill of sand. Feeling a bout of pride at the comment.    “Well, the typical board for doing this was a bit too-- conspicuous. So, I decided to fabricate my own to make it more portable and easy to store in small spaces.”

          No, traipsing into Hueco Mundo just for the hell of it probably wasn’t the best of examples for higher seated officers to be setting. But it was a quiet night & nobody was around. If they were going to do something frivolous, this would definitely be the time for it.           ❝You know me so well~❞ She hums. Chiyo often found herself looking for assassin ways to amuse herself. This endeavor was the proper amount of reckless & coordinated. ❝Shall we then?❞ the smaller shinigami asks, gesturing toward the open gate.

Her willingness to go along with this idea was proof of how like minded they were. Chiyo was really the best shenanigans partner he could ever ask for.

There’s that little smile, coming out as he’s questioned. Izuru’s presence was always welcomed, but especially when Akon was feeling a bit overworked.

 “It’s not super interesting, in my opinion. Just been toying with a few new formulas. The data we’ve collected from Silbern has helped improve on a few things. Nothing too major. Mostly communication devices and tracking. Luckily, we’ve had some input from that quincy kid, Uryu– and by the way– he really needs to relax, or have a vacation or something.” Smirking despite himself as he took out a handful of metal items. They resembled various insects, bees, dragonflies and so on.

          ❝You can never be too sure about that, but I have faith in you.❞           It was true. If anyone could get something past their captain, it was Akon. So she’ll bounce her way over to him, waiting in excited anticipation for their little adventure.           ❝So is this a spontaneous idea? Or have you been thinking about it for a while?❞

He chuckled a small ‘thank you’ as the gate began to open. Luckily, he was trusted with a lot more than he likely should have been. But Akon wasn’t going to abuse his privileges ..maybe just have some fun now and then.

Okay so that was not expected in the slightest. 

His eyes widened at the noise from the desk and her pretty much shouting his name. Glancing from side to side once she had calmed her voice. Then eyeing her quizzically.

she reaches for his hand, grasping it in her own before using her free hand to pluck the cloth from hoji’s hand, placing it next to her on the table. “ i’ll heal quickly, there’s r-really no need, hoji-san. “ a pause as tiburon glances in the mirror, frowning softly when she comes across the bruise on her jaw.

“ i’m starting to think that my presence isn’t… wanted in the seireitei. “ 

“You sure?” His voice was a bit more quiet as he visually inspected her lip. He sighed softly, covering her hand with his other after the cloth was put aside. True, it wasn’t a horrible injury in the slightest. Though he couldn’t help but worry for her. Hoji knew she would be fine-- and she could fend for herself. He just wanted to make sure she was always safe. Knowing how both sides have clashed and that she was pretty much stuck here. Well, for the time being anyhow. It must be pretty rough.
