I always draw Adder being affectionate with Janosh, so I wanted to draw Janosh loving on Adder 🥰🥰
good trip
Still trying to practice kisses
Cupids arrow- love at first sight
(Inspiration: Smacznego - Delosion, it’s not quite the moment from the fic but I only thought of this after reading it)
Currently giggling at the smirk Janosh gives Dry Devil when Zizka’s telling Adder that the horned demons of Hell will be taking turns with him and fighting over his Polish arse
Janosh what did you mean by this 🤨

Dry Devil
ad ignem damnati / condemned to the fire
🫣 it’s ummmm sparring. It’s a fighting tactic. It’s how you make friends in the Pack
he's literally always right
"the Pole is dead" It's like Janosh couldn't bring himself in that very moment to utter his name. Neither Adder, let alone Leszek. Upset that he had to leave him behind, furious that he didn't stayed with him. Janosh is mad at the gang and himself, not just Brabant for taking Adder from him. (upset because they were right and Adder was right) He's mad at Henry for 1. having to hold him back with all his strength so he wouldn't rush at Brabant and his men and certainly getting killed in the process 2. pulling him out of his thoughts where he seemingly debated with himself if he shouldn't just stay with Adder until his last breath had left him. Knowing well that it wouldn't had been what Leszek wanted. He wanted Janosh to keep living a little longer. Wanted Janosh to leave and be save. It does not matter if you ship them or not. What Janosh and Adder had was beyond any normal friendship. Something way deeper. Shipping them just gives the whole thing more depth. Janosh cared enough for Adder that he even had to fight with his tears as he tried to pray for him before he left. It's a small thing, something he wanted to do, but hardly could get himself to do. Because doing so, really meant saying goodbye to Adder. Having to leave him behind all alone.
And something I'll forever point out (I had talked about it before on twitter) is that not once did Janosh translate what Adder was saying. And it's the only time Adder actually speaks English/Czech glancing shortly to Janosh. Knowing that if you would say it Polish, Janosh wouldn't translate it or would translate it wrongly. Leszek wanted everyone to know, since Eric was still after them, that they should leave without him. Leave him behind as he would have just slowed them down. We may not see Janosh reaction to these words, but after Zizka tells them they'll be leaving we can see that Janosh had been in thoughts. He either was already considering there to stay with Adder or was looking for words to change Adder's or someone else mind. This is also why I think during Suchdol he's filled with so much guilt that he probably spend nights awake thinking of what they could have done differently. If he shouldn't have stayed with him. After all he left his beloved Leszek behind. Not being able to bury him, not knowing if and where he may could be buried. (also don't get me started how I still think that we still can see this deep sadness even at the end in the post credits. He may be smiling but he's way more silent and it's simply not the same as it had been when he was around Adder)
Janosh loved his sweet Adder and I'll never forgive Warhorse for separating what shouldn't had been separated.

Some behind the cut-scenes stuff I found today: Janosh and Adder edition during the Italian Job fight against the Praguers
So the only thing really of note that happens prior to the fight is Adder staring down the Prague line like THIS (that you never would see otherwise which is such a shame imo???)
Then once the fighting is about to start, all the npc's are kind of staged for their area of the fight (which teleports some people around, don't worry about it) but THIS is how Janosh and Adder are posed together (Janosh's shield despawned and his axe is floating, the lightsource for the intended framing (Kubyenka) is beamed into Adders Face)
It seems like their entire choreography for this fight scene is this dynamic of them fighting side-by-side, then getting separated briefly in the fray, then Adder running to help defend Janosh.
This happens twice as a whole background thing (although the one time is almost impossible to see because of lighting), then in the actual cutscene you'll see it play out slightly different, so I'm guessing they just used two takes and one became used as a sort of filler in the background.
well, that's about all from this cutscene, but I still find it cool that this is the dynamic they wanted to focus on with them and how much they are a unit. Watching it closely it almost seems like Adder is very protective of Janosh because Adder is always able to quickly take care of one enemy while Janosh is overwhelmed, then Adder rushes to help him. It's like Adder always has an eye out for him, even if Adder gets a little lost in the sauce fighting. (Also the seeing behind the curtain with these cutscenes is so cool)
Here are some bonus Adder faces:
