start understanding that most of your neighbors care about your rights, and their own

Folks are showing up outside hotels until well past midnight doing noise demos, making sure DHS knows we know where they are.

Mutual aid is keeping people fed, housed, alive. Hundreds of thousands of dollars (it’s purposefully hard to get an exact number) has been gathered to pay rent, buy diapers, get people to doctors. The names, faces, identities of the people doing this work is protected at any cost.

Restaurants, stores, and businesses are keeping their doors open to anyone who needs to warm up, or decontaminate after a gassing, or to pick up the next load of food to drive out.

Armed community members are showing up to secure the vigil site for Alex Pretti. They keep a distance, so as not to scare anyone, but they make sure the community knows they’re there.

Folks have occupied the space outside the Whipple federal building for weeks, never letting DHS forget who we are.

Local, independent media is creating an on the ground record of everything they can, making sure this can’t be buried by the fascist propaganda machine.

Tens of thousands of people, completely decentralized and autonomous, are keeping us safe, keeping people informed, keeping people alive.
