One of my favorite things a about the Gaviota coast is the way the wind dances on the water. The wind lines correspond to the different canyons and the way they feed to the sea. In places like Refugio the kelp beds keep the winds off the surface of the water and provide protection for a diverse number of organisms. Sadly, in this photo you can see the oil from the spill contaminating this sacred place. With no way to contain it, the wind moved the oil quickly down the coast and out to sea. #RefugioOilSpill

Last fall I was hired by Patagonia to film the build out of the Worn Wear Wagon. At this point I had already worked on a few @wornwear projects and the concept was close to my heart. Needless to say I was stoked to be a part of the project. // When I first met up with Jay Nelson he was well underway. The steel frame had already been constructed and installed and @jay was milling salvaged lumber at the @patagonia wood shop.
