- erik is the eldest son of the campbell family alongside his sister julia and brother bobby and then his two cousins stefani and charlie
- both visually and personality-wise, erik is the black sheep of the family being the only real alternative one and also being the most blunt, emotional, and crude. however, he is also fiercely loyal to his family and loves them dearly <3
- he is a college flunk/dropout but works a steady job at a tattoo shop called marked as a tattoo artist and piercer (for a boss he hates)
- though erik is often shown to have outbursts of anger to even minor annoyances (often in the form of smacking or punching objects), he is actually quite a softie, constantly protecting his family at any chance he can <3
- i personally headcanon him as having histronic personality disorder so if anyone wants 2 know more about why plz ask i want to talk about it so bad
- when speaking to strangers, and even sometimes his own family, they are often offput by erik's humor and mannerisms. i think he tries to be a people person and outspoken but nobody understands him enough for him to get close to :( mostly just intuition based on the minor interactions we see with non-family characters okay
- but im tired of ppl acting like he's some rizz master sex machine he literally freaks people out
- also!! erik plays mortal kombat!!!! and he likes cats!!!
- despite presenting as full on metalhead he actually has quite an eclectic music taste judging by his playlists that we see!!
- if anyone wants to know his canonical fate just look at my ship tag or the fdb wiki as he does unfortunately die brutally in his source and i dont rlly like talking about it
- but irl he's alive and we are snuggling trusties ^__^ okay anyways
- i love love love his humor he is so funny and embarrassing and i love his loyalty
- features wise obvi i love a tatted man and all his piercings but i especially love his eyes and his big nose and his fluffy hair and his beer belly and

i do think erik is pretty loyal to grinding mortal kombat most of the time but i feel like he likes stuff like COD or other FPS games ^__^
OH ALSO since a pretty big hc of mine is that he was big into wrestling as a kid that he would like the wrestling games!!!!!!
but also for the sake of doing stuff with his family, he likes nintendo games like mario kart and stuff liek that!!!
but mostly just mortal kombat since he specifically cares about being in a ranked match during his first scene i think he's just kind of a loser who grinds mk out to try to get to the top of the leaderboard or however it works.... my loser <3
