I love that it's now confirmed that Drifter literally jumped into the Helminth's mouth to get to 1999.

I main Umbra with both Operator and Drifter, and up until now, I just pretended Operator let him stay with Drifter.

...well, now I can say he's being passed back and forth like custody exchange, at the cost of getting very familiar with the Helminth's mouth!! XD

Oh fine, Hunhow did send you a message, so I suppose I can tell you now. ...Stalker came by to get help from Umbra to deal with Sirius and Orion, who were locked in an eternal battle. Operator: ... Ordis: ... Operator: Sirius... AND Orion??? Ordis: ...yes. There are four of them now: two babies, two adults. Oh, and Hunhow sacrificed his memories to give them and Stalker a peaceful home. ...where you can also entertain Hunhow by joining the fight between Sirius' mentor and Orion's girlfriend. Operator: ...WHAT?!?!

I have to wonder what goes through Arthur's head when the Drifter disappears for whole loops at a time due to missions in the present day that call for it. Wonder how worried he gets... probably a lot, but maybe not too much because the loops continue/meaning the Drifter's powers are still active... right? The Drifter hasn't died yet.

...but he won't know that until the year "ends"... so a whole year of worrying, possibly things going to shit because Drifter ain't there to do the reset early.

But technically, there's a POM-2 on the Orbiter... I bet they keep in contact through it.

Is that how the loop works? I would assume that the loop would collapse any moment if the drifter ceased to be.

But even if that's not the case, it's implied that the looping was a thing even before Drifter got there, cause Drifter somehow knew all these things despite us not being there. (Except for that one time we went for like five whole minutes but we didn't leave the mall).

I really do believe Drifter stays in 1999, since Operator can handle themselves, especially after the Focus School upgrades.

And there's no lore indicating that they have left 1999. ...after all, if you get a New Year's scene, it's pretty damn clear Drifter has to be there for it to happen.

But it does give room for Drifter to be away on all other days, since they're not needed to keep time moving.

As for the time loop itself...

Before Drifter arrived, it seemed to be a one-day loop:

Given how much Loid has studied the Indifference, I think "make no sense of it" means something he hasn't studied made the change. Perhaps... the Drifter has that power. ...but I can't find out who or what is powering it.

In Duviri's case, we know it still holds because Drifter gave the control over it back to Thrax. ...so if, say, Wally is the one who created the time loop as a means to try and weaken the timeline, it could mean he keeps the loop going...

...slamming his fist like a little baby because Drifter loved the Hex too much. lol

HOWEVER, even if that's the case... ya don't wanna leave them with him for too long...

Found Father

Just felt the urge to finally draw Umbra, show his paternal instincts.

My girls reach for him, whether it's for a difficult mission or a relaxing break; he's the one they can always rely on.

Operator shares a deep bond with him, but she knew Drifter needed him more in 1999. Indeed, the first loop was tough, so it was invaluable to have someone ready to comfort without needing a single word.

YO! DIGITAL EXTREMES, WHERE'S MY MAMA!?!?!!

Just a sad detail I noticed, after completing Old Peace, Lotus is gone from the ledge at the Sanctum Anatomica. I can't find her anywhere and it's kinda sad.

While I do understand from a story perspective why she's not there anymore, the story still has her staying in the Sanctum, and thus still have a reason to at least have her stand somewhere (maybe further into the sanctum) with maybe new idle lines.

Pls, DE, gimme back mama Lotus, wanna hang out with her!!

Been playing Warframe for 13 months now, and these are the results!

...can you tell I love Umbra? The second and third frames were regular Excalibur and Nyx. Because Excalibur is my fav, and cuz Arthur and Eleanor, of course.

The Hex quest in a nutshell

Always got the impression that Albrecht was expecting Drifter to care about the Hex, especially since we just learned in Whispers in the Wall that Wally was allergic to love.

("Netra Ris, Netra Khra" means "Decay Light, Decay Time". Figured I'd throw that in since the scene in the Zariman made it feel like Wally was taking them.)

Operator somehow got into Duviri to blow off some steam after what happened in Old Peace!

So I'm not sure how exactly this happened, but I was in the Backroom, Operator was active, I headed into Duviri but quickly realized I had forgotten to turn off public mode (I spawned in Teshin's cave as Drifter as normal), so I cancelled the mission and went solo mode, got back in, and... pretty sure I spawned as Drifter, but before I headed out of the cave, I wanted to change her appearance and WHAM! ...OPERATOR!!

She was slightly deformed to fit Drifter's animations and was mostly mute (until I interacted with animals, when she had a deep male voice), but everything worked fine!

...honestly, I like how Rose turned out... but Fiona?? ...those eyes just don't work for me; they don't have that confidence she used to have. Even after adjusting her makeup. ...oh well, it is how it is now, and I don't have to change how I draw her.

I love how I'll be trying to figure out if Drifter and Operator interact at all while Drifter is in 1999.

Like, can they page each other through the kinepages? Can they meet at the Zariman since it's connected to Duviri, which Drifter obviously still can access? Does the Operator have any clue why the heck there's suddenly an infested boy band orbiting the earth?

...and then I think of Kaya.

...she can sit Operator down and lay it all out. And if Drifter resets her memories but still help her escape, Operator will be so confused when Kaya just disappears and comes back with a completely different story.
