Caroline forgets that the last line should be “Climbed up the spout again” so it just repeats over and over again. This has been going on for five hours now.

Julie (to me): Clearly, you have the authority in that relationship.

Natalie: 🎶 And no matter where we roam, We'll be Oreos 🎶

The kid’s pumpkins

Of course caroline wanted her own pumpkin too

Natalie requested that I carve a Donatello face on the pumpkin. I wasn’t sure how to do that, so I did this instead.

Caroline has a really fun birthday. On the way home, without prompting, she declared, "My birthday was beautiful!"

For Caroline’s birthday dinner, she requested her favorite food, Macaroni and Cheese! We also had hotdogs and corn on the cob. After dinner, we played some games like gold panning for Rollos (and there was even a Rollo Bandit).  We also had a tin can toss, and pin the tail on the Sparky (Caroline’s favorite horse from Sheriff Callie)

For the party, Natalie had a great idea that it should be Sheriff Callie themed. For one of the activities, we decided to make a photo frame so that people can take their photos to look like a wanted poster.

Got happy meals for lunch and Caroline got a My Little Pony toy. When Natalie came home after school, Caroline opened her first birthday present. It was the book that Julie, Natalie, and I made for Caroline. The book was all about how Caroline’s favorite stuffed animals went out to find her a birthday present, and they left clues for Caroline so she can follow where they went in the book. In the book, the final clue was that her present was in her room and inside were a couple of new stuffed toy owls. After Julie finished reading the book to Caroline and Natalie, we went upstairs where Caroline saw that there was an actual present on her chair (and they were the owls that were in the book).
