I’ve been spending a lot of time reading interviews with Duras, trying to just get closer to that crystal clear sadness she created from, within, amidst. What she said about Woolf, what she said about men, what she said about everything. How she drank herself to death, and then got up one more time, to fight.

This is A+.

It bothers me that this show has moments like these that make you feel something right in your gut and you feel excited and your eyes start to burn and get a little watery and possibilities are a thing again, and then it's just nothing 90% of the time. What could have been a miracle, something to find comfort in, saving grace, someone who finally gets it.
