The other morning Jaehyun went to a jewellery store to buy an engagement ring for his proposal.

Getting engaged is one of the most special and memorable moments in life. The engagement ring stands for the promise of marriage, it symbolises devotion and commitment to the beloved partner.

He enter the store and start browsing all the rings that is displaying inside the glass drawer

“Hi welcome how can i help you?” The saleswoman asked and approached

“Hi i’m looking for engagement ring.” Jaehyun said and smiled

“Ok please follow me here.” She said and leads Jaehyun another counter also fully displayed with rings

“This counter is all engagement ring, you can have a lot tell him which one you are interested i’ll take out for you.” She said and smiled politely

He look through the ring inside the glass drawer carefully., he then saw one.

“Can i have a look for this?” Jaehyun’s aid and pointed

“This one?” The saleswoman open the glass drawer pointing at the ring and ask Jaehyun

“Yes.” Jaehyun nodded

She took out the ring and place it on top of a jewellery tray

“Here you go, sir.” She said

Jaehyun picked it up and looked at it, it’s a minimalist ring that has a small diamond on it. He knew you like simple looking stuff so he decided he want this.

“I would like to buy this.” Jaehyun said and pass it back to saleswoman.

“Sure please follow me to counter.” She said

“Do you need a ring box?” She asked

“Yes please.” Jaehyun said as she took out a few types of box

“Please choose one.” She smiled

Jaehyun chosen the most simplest normal blue case.

“I would like to choose this one.” Jaehyun smiled

She nodded and put the ring into the blue ring box Jaehyun chooses.

“The total is ₩1,039,639 ($800+ / £600+ / €700 / A$1200+).” The saleswoman said

“Thank you.” Jaehyun pay by his card

He finished payment then he took the ring from the saleswoman

“Thank you!” She said

Jaehyun left the store with your engagement ring

It was already Sunday 5pm, you choose a knitwear with a denim skirt then you went to shower and apply some lipstick only you don’t do makeup.

Jaehyun called you and told you he’s already arrived your apartment and so you went down quickly.

You get in his car and pecked on his cheek

“Hi.” You giggled

“Hi.” He caress your hair, “You are so pretty today.” Jaehyun said. ‘as always’ he thought

“Thank you.” You chuckled as he continue driving

You two arrived a hotel

“You should tell me we are going to a hotel, then i’ll wear a nicer shirt.” You pouted

Jaehyun laughed and said “its okay you still look pretty.” He patted your head and hold your hand

You two went up to the uppermost floor, it’s the hotel restaurant but there is no people.

“You reserved the whole floor?!” You asked surprisingly

“Yes it’s - a special day.” Jaehyun smiled

‘Special day? Today?’ You thought you couldn’t remember what day today is valentines? nope anniversary? nope. You still couldn’t figure out as Jaehyun lead you to a table and pulled out the chair for you then you sit down.

Jaehyun raised his hand and the waiters starts to serve the foods. He ordered your favourite food (__), you two eat and talk all the way.

Suddenly the lights off, you startled. But the light above the two of you are still on.

Jaehyun stand up from his seat, walked towards you and get on one knee beside the table. Taking out the blue ring box from his pocket, he open it up revealing a diamond ring. You are shocked

“My dear (Y/N), i know it might be hard for you to fall in love with me all the time secretly like this, but I want to thank you, thank you for choosing me. I don't know what I am supposed to say, maybe it's all too sudden for you, but for me. I've always wanted to do this from the moment we were together. Would you marry me? To be Mrs.Jeong?” Jaehyun said sincerely

“Y-yes.” You nodded and cried

He tucked the ring in your fourth finger on the left hand. He stand up, hands cupping your face then he lean down and kiss on your lips.

“Hi, Mrs.Jeong.” Jaehyun giggling

“Yes, this is Mrs.Jeong.” You smile widely and showing him your left hand.

There you two are sitting inside of Jaehyun’s car he’s driving and you are looking at the engagement ring. Everything felt like a dream, you still couldn’t believe you are engaged to Jeong Jaehyun. You look at his charming figure, he look so handsome when he drive.

“Thank you I love you.” You said and smiled

“I love you, too. My fiancé.” Jaehyun smiled.
