So this is my axminster design that I created for my rug and carpet design class. Actually LOVED how this came out. I hand painted the second layout in gouche. These are the color tests that I did on photoshop.

My plate setting project from last semester! It was so exciting getting the print outs and putting it together! Painted a dinner plate, cake plate, cup, dinner napkin, cocktail napkin, invitation, and a placement card. I loved this project because it really turned out the way I envisioned it. It is honestly one of the projects that I feel confident putting into my portfolio. 

Textile prints I made recently! I was inspired by cherubs and angels from post-Renaissance paintings. I had so much fun making them! Especially making the little wings. I took the color palette from multiple Baroque paintings and just loved that deep red with the gold. All done in Photoshop.

A little sketch that I made during my conception of a book cover project last year. Quite disappointed with how the actual piece came out but I had so much fun drawing these two when not under pressure for it to look beautiful. This is my perception of how Raymondin and Melusine would look in a British colonized India.They are figures from European folklore and were featured in this Witches book that I had when I was a child. It was my favorite tale from the whole book, so they hold a special place in my heart. Planning to redo the book cover over as well as illustrate a few more pages to go with this. I wish I had time!

Getting out of class early means I can spam my art blog with loads of drawings I've done in the past year.
