I came across your blog and ended up reading on how you started shipping tsu and bakugou. I do have a question though. The scene where tsu explanes her feelings about them going to rescue bakugou some could argue that they shouldn't have apologized to her because they did nothing wrong, they were trying to save their friend. Some would even go as far as saying that she didn't want to rescue him. What are your thoughts? (I believe she was in the right to express her feelings about the situation)
That's the issue between MORAL and LAW.
Tsuyu can be a blunt person, but if you analyze it coldly, she was right. They are students and should rely on the adults to do their job, it was dangerous, they don't have the experience enough on a battlefield, it's like going to the hardest level when, literally you are a noob. Tsuyu knows they are beginners, what the hell they could do? in her mind that was the logical response.
If you need a lawyer, you go for a lawyer not a 1st year student, right?
If you need a doctor, you go for a doctor not a 1st year medicine student, right?
If you are in danger, you go for a true hero not a 1st year hero student.
That's the most logical way of thinking.
The rescue team was following their own ideals and "moral", for saving a friend. Reckless but brave, they could fall as well, but managed to save him. Luckily. And its okay? Sure, in fiction it works, because of the plot. Calling them villains was a bit unnecessary imho, but understand Tsuyu's square logic, for her, breaking the rules is to be a villain but she learned, that logic has different circumstances and facts, so the result can be never the same, sometimes, heroes break the rules as well in order to do what they have to do.
She felt like shit, how not? She wanted Bakugou to be safe as well but she was aware of their limits as students and how big size was that battle with the villains, Tsuyu cried because she was right but wrong, she felt like a bad friend to them and also to Bakugou.
That's all ;O;
P.S: Tsuyu probably never shared her room because she felt out of context, the more I think about it, the more I believe it. BUUUUUUUUUUUUT. I have a theory in my head regarding both Tsuyu, Bakugou, the rooms, his panel sleeping and all that jazz. One day maybe I will make a post T_T.
