Why am I even posting this, no one is going to find this funny, no one who knows one of these characters is going to know the other one.

When I’m referring to someone consuming soup, would you say they drank soup, or they ate soup? Because like- it’s food, yeah, you can eat soup as a meal, and you eat a meal, you don’t drink a meal, but it’s a meal that’s a liquid, and you drink liquids. But it’s not a beverage like most other edible liquids- so I don’t know what rules apply to such a thing. I don’t talk about soup very often, but if the topic comes up, I don’t want people to think I’m an uncultured non-soup-verb-knower.
